*Maddie's POV*
When I woke up, I heard noises from downstairs. So I open my door and crept downstairs to see who or what was there. At first I thought it was my parents because they normally would be home by now. But it was Luke. He was packing and everything, saying that my parents called and say they'll be back soon. So he asked me for my number, so we can hang out next time. I gave him it, and he gave me his. We both smiled and he kept staring at me. I looked down to see that i'm wearing my crop top and nike shorts. That is what I normally wear to bed. He kept staring at me and I said what are you looking at? He said "nothing" what a lier.
Then a knock on the door. It was my parents. I opened the door to see my dad drunk and as I let him in, mum told me to bring him to his room so she can pay Luke. I said see you later and he said bye. Dad is so heavy. As I lay him down on his bed, he pulled me closer to him and tries to kiss me. I know he's drunk but as I try to pull away he grabbed my arms and lay me on his bed. I was terrified to be honest because dad's never done this to me before. I started screaming for help. Mum came into my room, probably heard me yelling. She called for Luke, I thought he left but he hasn't. Luke ran upstairs to see dad on top of me. He hasn't done anything to me yet, so that's good. Luke pulled him up and grabbed my hand and hugged me. I was scared. It didn't matter how old I was. I was scared.
Luke took me downstairs and tries to make me laugh so I don't feel scared. It worked. Mum told him to take me out for a walk. We did. I grabbed my jumper from the couch, shoes from the shoe rack and we left.
*Luke's POV*
I heard a scream, at that moment I knew it was Maddie. Her mum called me up so I ran as fast as I could. Came to her door and saw what her dad's doing to her. He was drunk but it wasn't acceptable. So I pulled him up and grabbed Maddie's arm, and hugged her. As I took her downstairs, she was shaking. So I try to make her laugh so she wouldn't be scared anymore. It worked. Her mum told me to take her for a walk. We did. I grabbed my black hoodie and shoes and off we went.
