As Ella walked through my front door , I could tell this wasn't going to be the usual birthday celebration. She was wearing a navy blue, skin tight dress. Her hair was down and beautiful as always. She looked at me with a big old smile plastered on her face and said, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US!"

"Well happy birthday to you, it isn't midnight yet." I claimed while checking my phone. 10:30p.m., 1 hour and 30 minutes till I'm officially 21.

"So why are ya all dressed up?" I asked, Pointing out Ella's dress.

"Well... I was thinking we could go out, have some fun. But if your not up to it , it's totally fine..." She explained.

"Of course I wanna go! But I'm terrible at picking out outfits, so can you help me? Please?" I asked batting my eyes with hope she'll help me because well, I'm somewhat hopeless.

"Sure thing, come on let's go" she pulls me of the couch and starts leading me to my room.

"Hmmm how about.. this?" she pulled out a sleeveless black dress from my closet that goes just a little bit above my knee.

"Yeah sure, I guess that'll work. I'm gonna go do makeup, you can go watch TV if ya want" I offered while walking to the bathroom.

When I got to the bathroom, my boss, Dallon, texted me.

'happy early birthday, sweetheart.'

'Don't call me that. Also why are you texting me?' I respond.

'Can't I show my assistant some love?' He replies. I shake my head, I just want a normal boss.

'Goodnight, Mr.Weekes.'  I just want to make this clear with him, we are strictly co-workers.

I put down my phone, and start thinking of things to do with my face. I was thinking of just some lightish makeup. Mascara, bit of eyeliner, and some nude lipstick. Compared to Ella's amazing dark smokey eye, it sucked. I then to decided to curl my Auburn hair a bit, making it more curly then it's usual waves. When I walked out Ella whistled in approval.

"What took so long?" She asked, turning off the T.V, stands up, and stretches.

" Oh nothing, just thinking of what to do for my look tonight." I reply. She gives me a 'yeah, sure' look.

We then walked out the door, and start driving to the club. This should interesting.

[ A/N]: Hey guys! Sorry if the first chapter was boring, but don't worry things will start getting interesting in the next few chapters! Also I don't know how often I will be updating this story, hopefully a lot. I know it gets irritating when a author doesn't update regularly, so I'll try my best.
