Request: “Can you do an imagine where Dick’s s/o lives with him in Bludhaven and it’s kinda the most domestic way of being a secret vigilante at night and a cop in the day?? Like she lays his armour out for him, washes all his equipment, makes him lunch for work, and sometimes brings cookies to his work for him and all his coworkers and it’s just really nice and normal (Well.) and Dick lives for it, mate.”

A/N: Started off strong but got weak at the end, my bad

“You’ve been awake this entire time?” Dick gave you a surprised look as soon as he walked out of the bedroom, seeing his blue uniform already laid out for him, the bronze BPD badge lying next to it. “I’ve only been up since six.” You tell the man, grabbing his usual bowl and picking out the cereal he wanted.

“ONLY six?” His mouth gaped. “You need your sleep, babe.”

“Yeah… But every time I sleep in you forget something due to your…uh, night job.” He went into the other room to pull on his uniform and fix his hair. Mumbling about how he doesn’t forget. He hugged and pecked you goodbye but you grabbed his arm, pulling him back. “Yes?” He questioned, smiling at you. You held up a lunch bag and coffee and handing it to him.

“Right.” He chuckled, pecking you again and leaving only to grab him again and hand him his fully charges phone. “Thank you.” He pecked you again before trying to leave again only to grab him back and hand him his badge. “Is there anything else I forgot before I leave again?” He sighed, not helping but to smile. You turned your head tapping your cheek with your finger. “One more.” You told him.

“Okay.” He laughed before kissing your cheek and finally leaving. “Love you. See you when I get home.” You waved goodbye. Throughout the day you distracted yourself with television while folding laundry, eating lunch, cleaning the specks of blood off your boyfriends armor. Yet, you felt bored staying in the apartment majority of the time and decided to walk throughout the city. Cookie shop? Yeah. It was new, bright and colorful. And it was warm inside, sweet smelling, the sound of the bell as you walked made you look up at it.

“Hi.” You smiled, walking up and greeting the employee behind the counter. “Can I have a dozen? Strawberry, chocolate, sugar, and chocolate chip.” You got your order, satisfied to pay below fifteen dollars and made your way to to the BPD, seeing the blue uniforms, serious scowls, and angered arrested perps. You search for the familiar face and found him filling out various papers at his desk.

“‘Afternoon, Officer Grayson.” You set the cookies on his desk. He let out a surprised smile, laughing at your sudden appearance.

“You know…” He started, chuckling like a child and opening the box, handing one to you. “You can’t just show up like this. You know how much you distract me.”

“Fine, then I’ll take my cookies back.” You smirked, reaching for the box.

“No, no. I appreciate this. I really do. You’re a good distraction, especially when there’s all this yelling.” Pointing out the temporary inmates in their jail cells, shouting about either their innocence, blame of others involved in the crimes to get them out of jail, or just flat out nonsense. Dick leaned back in his seat. “Not to mention…”

“Oh my god! They brought cookies this time!” A coworker announced, few of them stepping over to you two with begging eyes. You smirked and looked at Dick, they were his cookies. He grabbed one more before allowing his coworkers to have at his cookies. He stood and kissed you before you left to the apartment. “See you at home.”

And you did see him at home, laying out his armor, mask, and usual gear. You sometimes hated touching his batons, considering most times your may have electrocuted yourself. You heard the close of the apartment door. “Did you electrocute yourself again?” You hear the man question, you both let out a laugh. “No, I didn’t.” He hugged you from behind, swaying back in forth, you looked at him, swearing he had hearts in his eyes.

“You know, you don’t have to do this.” He assures.

“I like knowing that you’re prepared. But,” you sighed dramatically. “If you don’t want me to…”

“No, no. I love this.” Hugging you tighter, but he had to let go. You watched him put on his armor and grab his gear before leaving out the window. “See you when I get home.” He smiled but you grabbed him, giving him a knowing look. “Right.” He chuckled and kissed your cheek firmly before leaving.
