Im Da Rin. I just turned 18. Hoping...Dreaming... those gave me the strength to move on and be strong, never give up. Sometimes I thought all of this isn't working... I was about to give up everything... but then...God gave me a sign again. And again I got hope.
Again I tried to get up. Run. Fight.
That was a cycle of my life.

It was Monday morning and I was still in my bed... thinking about if I should go to school or not. I couldn't stay at home because my mother is totally complex when it comes to missed school days.
Mom: DARIN GET UP YOU'LL BE LATE.
She screamed from the living room. She was already up like always. Drinking her coffee and sending me and my 1 year elder brother to school. We both were in the same class and we usually spend most of the time together.
Me: YES MOM IM UP. JUST DON'T BE SO NOISY
Mom: DON'T TALK. GET READY AND WAKE YOUR BEOTHER UP.
Oh well Im sure he's already up from her screamings.
I went to the opposit room of mine and knock on the door. I heared a "come in" and went inside.
me: Jisooya get ready. Should we skip class today?
Js: That means Oppa. How many times do I have to tell you this. And I don't know... how many times did we skip this year?
I thought for a moment...
Me: I guess 15 times?
I laughed awkwardly
Js: Shit we can't... let's just go to school
I sighed and went to my room to get ready.
I wore black pants a white t-shirt with a ripped jeans jacket. My hair... i just brushed them and done. I grabbed my bagback and went to the kitchen.
Gotta prepare something for me and Jisoo cause we have no time. I quickly made sandwiches and coffee. I handed Jisoo his and we went to the elevator out of the apartment.
Js: Darin
Me: yes Ji- I mean oppa
Js: Last time I saw something... do girls at school bully you?
He asked in a veeerry serious tone I couldn't look him in the face but I knew he's really angry
Me: Um.. no opp-
Js: DARIN! DAMN JUST SAY THE TRUETH
A tear began to fall
Me: I- Im sorry for not telling Oppa. Yes... but that's not something new... since we changed into this school... everyone began to bully me... they say Im a slut and don't deserve to be your sister... that Im an ugly bitch... they just all don't like me oppa...
Jisoo took me in his arms and patted my head.
Js: Why the heck did you hide this from me?! Darin please don't ever hide anything from me. We just have eachother... how am I supposed to portact you if you hide things from me?
Me: Im really sorry oppa. I just didn't want to be a burden for you. That's not gonna happen again
Js: Burden my ass. You are not and you'll never be.
He showed me his little pinky finger and waited for mine.
Js: Promise oppa no more secrets
I interwined our pinky fingers.
Me: Promise. No more secrets
He smiled and hugged me from the side.
He looked at his phone and widened his eyes.
Js: Omg Darin run we're late!
He began to run and I was far away behind him. He noticed and ran back to me, grabbed my hand and began to run again.
We finally arrived at school and our teacher was really mad at us for always being that late. We should really try to be on time ugh...
After the first period we had break... finally! I sat beside Jisoo like always and we were packing our stuffs together for the next class. We had sports.
Js: from now on you'll be with me in every break. Got it?
Me: I-
He looked serious... so I just agreed.
We took our bags and went to the cafeteria to get some food. Jisoo was behind me and I already bought what I wanted so I was about to go to the tables to sit and wait for him but someone pushed me from behinde and made me fall...
Jisoo saw that and ran towards the girl who just pushed me. He grabbed her by her hair and she screamed in pain.
Js: WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARW DOING BY PUSHING MY SISTER? TRY IT AGAIN AND YOU'LL SEE WHAT'LL HAPPEN BITCH
girl: LET GO YOU ASSHOLE
He let go of her hair by pushing her head harshly and make her almost fall. He went towards me and helped me up.
He grabbed my wrist aggresivly and went out of the cafeteria. We were infront of the gates where no one was looking at us like we were filming a Drama scene or so.
Js: This bitch what does she think she i- Are you okay? Did you get hurt?
He was checking out my body and looking for bruises but found nothing and sighed in realive.
Me: Oppa... wasn't that a bit too harsh?... I mean... you would never harm a girl
Js: I would never harm a girl. Yes. But if it's a girl who hurts my sister then I would kill her.
Me: Oppa don't do that anymore please. You'll get in trouble because of me
Js: Darin! I don't care if I get in trouble. You are my sister and I'll protact you no matter what. Don't ever want something like that from me. Alright?
Me: Alright...
I hugged him really tight and he did too.
The bell for the next class rang and we went to our class.
After some classes school ended and our teacher asked us to stay for a while because he wanted to talk about something.
Teacher: So you both. I heared about what happened in the cafeteria today.
He looked up to us and hit us both on our heads. We whined in pain.
Teacher: Yah you jerks especially you Jisoo. Why did you pull the hair of your schoolmate?
Js: teacher... that girl is bullying my sister how should I stay calm?
Teacher: That doesn't mean you have to be the same as her. You just had to come to me and we would finde a solution for that. She would definitly get punishment for mobbing others
Yes our hometeacher is the best. Hes like an elder brother to us or like a friend.
Me: Teacher... is my brother in trouble?
Teacher: Well determination for you Jisoo and for that girl... the director said she's gonna be suspended for a week and also has to clean all the toilets for harming other students.
Js: Teacher that's nice to hear but she's not the only one whos bullying Darin.
The teacher looked at me and came closer to pat my head
Teacher: Darin why don't you talk? Tell me who is mobbing you please. You can trust me right?
Me: I know teacher I trust you. But...
Js: Darin!
Me: Well there are some girls at school and a few guys
I listed the names of them and the teacher took a note and told us that he's gonna talk with the directot about that.
Teacher: Alright guys. Darin don't worry they will no longer bully you. And Jisoo determination tomorrow after school ok?
Jisoo nodded and we made our way home.
Js: Darin you'll stay with me after school
Me: whhyy
Js: because I won't send you home alone
Me: alriightt
Js: haha good girl
He ruffelt my hair and put his arm around my shoulder.
At Home
We went to our rooms to change our cloths and wash up. Mom was not home oviously... maybe out meeting friends and yeah our father is... I don't know where. He left us a few years ago and it didn't really made any difference in our lifes. He wasn't there for us anyways. So as usual I went to the kitchen to prepare dinner. I cooked some vegetables with rice.
We ate in silence and went to our rooms again to chill.
Suddenly a loud noise came. I went out of my room to look what it was like Jisoo. He stood infront of me in shock. We went to the door and saw Mom all drunk with a... men? Goodness what's happening she was never like that. Well I understood that after my father left us that she was often outside to meet friends and stuff but this is way too much!
She noticed us and came closer.
Mom: YOU CHILDREN OF DOGS WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE
Okay she is getting too much
Me: MOM NOT US BUT WHAT IS THE MEN DOING HERE?
Jisoo went up to the men and began beating him. He was really mad I could see that. My mother realized the situation and Grabbed Jisoo by his shirt and slapped him. That was a big mistake mom... a really big one and she's so gonna regret this.
Jisoo stopped and looked at mom in disbelive. He grabbed my hand and took me in his room.
He began to pack his stuff and without looking at me he spoke.
Js: Pack your stuff too. Now!
Me: Oppa she is not by sense I mean-
He didn't let me speak and hold my shoulders.
Js: Yah listen to your brother and do what I said. You know too that she changed after father left. She doesn't care
I just let out my tears and he did too. But he was stronger than me. He wiped it off and hugged me.
Js: It's gonna be alright. Now wipe your tears and go do what I said.
Me: Okay but where are we going?
I wiped my tears. He sighed.
Js: You know Jungkook right? He once offered me to live with him because he can't offer the rent of his apartment so... I'll work after school and pay half of it.
Me: Alright...
I went and packed my stuff and return to his room. He was ready and wanted me to wait a secound.
Js: let me call him first
I nodded and sat on his bed.
Js: Oi Jeon jungkook
Jk: Hey Hyung
Js: Did you finde someone already to live with you?
Jk: Nop. Did you think about it again?! Hyung I knew it!
Js: Yes but do you have one more room? My sister is joining
Jk: your sister? Darin?
Js: yeah why?
Jk: Nothing hyung. There is one more room. Let me pick you up. Where are you?
Js: You know the caffè nearby my house?
Jk: Okay. I'll be there in a few minutes
Js: Thanks Kook. See you
He hung up and looked at me.
Js: Let's go
We went out of his room and we saw my mother making up with that men.
Js: Mom we are leaving for your information
She saw our luggages and stopped what she was doing.
I was so disgusted rightnow.
Mom: Goodbye then
She looked at the men and smiled.
Mom: Do do you wanna move in?
Ok bye. We left the house and went to the caffè Jungkook would pick us up. Wow he was quick because he stood there infront of his car waiting for us.
Jungkook saw us and ran towards our direction.
Jk: Hyung you came. Let me carry your stuff
He took mine and was about to take Jisoos too but he refused and said he could carry it too. We were now in his car on our way to his apartment... Why does he need someone to pay the rent tho... I mean he has a nice car.
It was as if my brother read my mind and asked Jungkook the same question I asked myself.
Js: Yah you jerk. Why do you need someone to share the rent when you own a bomb care like this
He began to smile from ear to ear.
My brother hit his head and made him stop smiling like a creep.
Jk: Auch hyuuung.
He rubbed the back of his head.
I had to giggle somehow.
Jk: I lied. Im just so bored and lonely so yeah. How come you decided to move out?
Js: My mom is being weird and today she went up her limits so...
Jk: I see. I'll take good care of you guys
Js: No Jungkook I'll pay what I have to pay.
Jk: No hyung it's alright and I don't even pay for the apartment my father does. I just pay for the food.
Js: Then I'll help you paying for the food jungkook. Where are you working?
Jk: At a caffè nearby. And yes to your luck they need 2 employees
Jisoo laughed and thanked him.
We arrived at his apartment and he showed us our rooms. Mine was beside Jisoos and his was opposit of mine.
Jk: When you guys need something then you just gotta scream JUNGKOOK and I'll be there
I laughed
Me: Thanks JUNGKOOK
I screamed his name like he did and all of us laughed. Jisoo and me went to our rooms to organize our things and yeah have a better look around our rooms. It was late already and I just went to sleep... tomorrow we had school and I have to stay longer because determination for Jisoo:) But that's alright. He's doing his best for me... and I can't pay him back.
