I believe in magic. Before I go to sleep, my dad would tell me stories about wizards, magicians, sorcerers and necromancers who have occupied our country thousands and thousands of years ago. He told me about this war which lasted for about half a millennium. It started when a necromancer tried to steal the Crystal of Magus – the power source of the supernatural beings. He was caught by a magician who took grabbed the crystal and ran away. The necromancer told the wizards about the incident. The magicians tried to defend their kin who returned the crystal to its place. But, it was too late. Damages have occurred both in their lives and the nature. Many wizards were affected that’s why they waged war against the magicians. But the magicians waged war against the necromancers. The sorcerers, they remained silent until the wizards asked for their help. The head sorcerer hesitated, but the wizards convinced them by offering part of their land to the sorcerers. The head necromancer found the alliance to be a ‘betrayal’. They expected that the wizards would collaborate with them. That’s why they waged war against the two. Historians called that war the Magical Warfare. They used a fancy name to avoid casting fear in the minds of the normal beings, which they called the Tau. They are the offspring of two supernatural beings. Few Tau inherited the powers of their parents. And that few would die at a very young age.

That’s Roug Terramese or simply Roug, thousands and thousands of years ago. Now, normal beings thrive in harmony with each other. Although, they believed that some supras – the modern term used instead of supernatural beings – live within the outskirts of Roug which are considered “spell-bounded”. The government decided to build fences of barbed wires that determined the borders of each district. Once you are caught beyond the borders, you’re dead. But, that doesn’t work for me. It is actually fun to go beyond the borders of your district and hunt for these unusual creatures like the ants with butterfly wings, crows with tails of rainbow, deer with skins of shadow, and snakes with eyes of crystals. I believe that they were mutants. The whole country would dispose chemical wastes in the outskirts that would contaminate the water and land and the creatures living in them. No magicians, necromancers, wizards nor sorcerers. I don’t even know how to differentiate them. Besides, I’ve been doing these for a decade.
