Chapter 1

Ben Maxon arrived at exactly 8 am in Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport. After traveling for how many hours, he finally arrived. His bottom is a little numb for sitting for almost how many damn hours. But he's grateful that he arrived safely.

After passing by the immigration, he took his luggage and went out of the airport.

Once he stepped a foot outside, he automatically took his camera out and he started taking some photos of the view he thinks that is marvelous.

He took a deep breath and inhaled the air of the City of Love.

Even though he's rich and wealthy and even though he had been here many times, Paris never failed to amaze him.

Back in New York he's a very famous and a wealthy man. He's the heir of their business. He produced the famous magazines and newspapers in New York. He's almost everywhere in the city of New York. There was not a time where he wasn't part of the cover of a magazine of at the tabloids, billboards. He's just everywhere. But he doesn't really payed too much attention about his fame, he does not even boast about it that's why almost all of the girls in New York are dying to meet him and they're really eager to have Ben all for themselves. With his blonde hair, ocean blue eyes, chiseled muscles, tall figure, deep husky voice, it made all the girls in New York drool over him. Ben doesn't have any time for love affairs, his only focus is his career and his ill father.

The thought about his father made him sad because his father is bed ridden and has given a little amount of time to live. His father is dying because of cancer. Ben's grateful that a personal nurse is there to take care of his father while he's away. His father is his only inspiration apart from his mother. Without his father's hardwork and loyalty to their company, he wouldn't be where he is right now, he wouldn't be that famous in New York, without his father's help he wouldn't be the well-known 'Benjamin Maxon', he wouldn't be popular and all. All he is, he inherited it from his father, Charles Maxon. His father became a very big part of his life, that's why the thought of his father leaving him forever hurts him and after all his father is the only family he's got.

Ben's mother died when he was at the age of 20 because of heart attack, now he's 28. Yes it has been eight years but for Ben it seems like yesterday where his mother would alwyas visit him at his house and discuss words of wisdom whenever there are difficulties in the business. He miss those times. Ben was young when he lost his mother and now he's still young to lose his dad. That's why he keeps on praying to God to give his father more time to be with him.

After thinking all those things he let out a heavy breath and wiped his eyes, he didn't realized that just thinking about those can make his tears fall.

He left for Paris because he a just want some alone time, to escape every haunting thoughts, every problems back in New York. Even for just a  moment. He just want to find himself again.

Well, my stay here should be better than good. He thought.

After taking some satisfying shots he got his luggage and called a taxi. He's lucky because the driver is fluent in English so it'll be easy for him to communicate.

When he left he didn't ask his assistant for a private transportation in Paris, even going to Paris, he rode a public plane, he didn't even bother to use his private jetplane in where he'll be comfortable enough but just for once, he doesnot want to be treated special. Just once he just want to feel human again. A real one. 

"Uhm," He stuttered first, "Hotel Ares Eiffel?" Ben asked for the hotel.

"Oh that! Well you have a great choice of hotel! Hotel Ares is one of the luxurious hotels here in Paris. I bet you'll have a good time there with your wife." Ben was taken aback by the driver's statement.
