Sketch POV

When I got to the Tiffany& Co jeweller I looked around. I didn't think I should get her a necklace nor a bracelet. If I got her a diamond ring Sub would kill me. I stood there thinking and must've zoned out because I suddenly heard a voice startling me.

"Excuse me sir are you looking for something?" I looked in front of me and saw a plump lady with kind eyes looking at me worriedly.

"Oh uh yes well I was looking for something for my girlfriend," I said I could feel my face getting red.

"I don't want to get her a necklace or a bracelet but if I got her one of these diamond rings her brother might freak." I finished starting to get frustrated with myself.

"How about a promise ring?" She said simply pulling out a small tray. I had never heard of.

"A what ring?"

"A promise ring. You know to promise that you will promise to stay together." I looked at the rings, they were small simple rings of many colours.

"What do the colours represent?" I asked.

"Whatever month she was born that's what jewel. So when is her birthday?" She asked.

"Tomorrow," I replied not looking up.

"Ok so she would be an alexandrite," She said pointing to a beautiful jewel. It was purple but when I looked closer it changed to a dark blue.

"And when is yours?" She asked.

"Um, April?" I said confused.

"Ok, so you would be a crystal," she said pointing to a clear diamond.

"So your promise ring will look like this." She said pulling out a ring with two small hearts next to each other of each birthstone.

"How much?" I asked I didn't care how much. I knew that it was perfect.

$290.00." I kind of got nervous but I wanted to get it for her and make it the best birthday ever. I paid for the ring and left.

Your POV

When Sub came upstairs he told me everyone had gone out to the mall. I didn't care I was too exhausted to care and went to bed.

The next day ( your birthday )

I woke up and decided that even though I didn't make s the big deal about my birthday that I could at least dress nice so I threw this on:

When I went downstairs everyone was gone. I guess they forgot. I walked over to the counter and saw a letter:

This first clue is a treat
You go to this place to eat

I had to admit I was confused by the letter. You go to this place to eat. Where did I go to eat? Then it hit me like a truck. The Starbucks at the mall!
