"Can you please tell me why we're doing this again" Lucy whined for the up tenth the whole trip.

"I told you.. We're here to discuss the peace treaty set by the Council 50 years ago. Times have changed and so have the different races. Werewolves, Vampires, and us the Hunters. The amendments have to be reinforced and changed a bit to suit all races." Well that's what I red in the portfolio anyway.

"Yeah but what does that have to do with us? We just got out of Hunters Academy." I internally groaned but kept a blank face.

"As the 'Future' or so they call us. We have been given the privilege of instating the new laws. How will they know the right laws to instate if the don't know how our generation works. Different teams have been spread to the strongest of each different race to see they're different traits, personalities, needs and wants." I spared her a glance to make sure she's listening. When I saw her staring intently at me I continued.

"After a months time we all meet up and discuss with the leaders of the past, future and present so everyone is 'happy'." There was silence in the car as she let it all since in.

"Oh.. I get it now. I can see why they pared me up with you." She said with a bright smile.

"They paired me up with you. Because your the headmaster's daughter."

"And the best in the academy." She said proudly. I raised a brow and shot her a side wards glance. "OK... Next to you. But you like the best that ever lived. And some might say better then your father. The son of The Great Keith Hunter." This time I groaned out loud.

"I hate it when people compare me to my old man." Now I know what you thinking. 'But you should be proud of your dad.' And yes I am and I loved the old man. He was a great man. Taught me before I was old enough for The Academy. And let me say when I first stepped through those doors I was a force to be reconned with.

We were inseparable. That was until he died. In a Rogue attack. I saw the life drain from his eyes. Those same eyes I will never forget. The Rogue wolf had laughed at my tear struck face. Two days later the Council found me surrounded by a mountain of dead Rogues and my fathers signature sword half berried in the concrete with both hands clutching the hilt pressed against my for head as I sat there on my knees next to my fathers body. I killed the Rogue that took his life and all his followers. I was only ten.

"We're approaching the pack territory now" Lucy informed me from the back seat. Apparently during my subconscious state she had gotten into the back and is gearing up. She wore the usual Hunter wear which was a dark brown trench coat with dark brown trousers and a white tie. Of course there are multiple hidden compartments to counsel her weapons. But I'm not like other hunters. Have never been. And that's why I don't were the suit even if its custom made to be as strong as iron but as light as any other piece of clothing.

"Logan you need to deck out dude you don't want them thinking your getting comfortable with them, its a sign of weakness" She scolded.. well tried to. You see with long blonde hair, blue eyes and a baby face its quiet hard for her to look any intimidating.

I wore black sweatpants, a long sleeve black shirt and black boats. Let's just say its my favourite colour. I kept one hand on the steering wheel and quickly bucked my gun belt just below my waist. I had two black pistols on either side with suppressors, though it just made the pistols look like they had a long barrel. And Hunting knife at the small of my back.

I slowed my Black Hummer as we approached the boarder. I stopped the car by a dirt road that leads into the forest and got out with Lucy not far behind. We waited in silence for a good five minutes before shadow passed between the trees. A moment later a young man around my age stepped out of the trees.
