Life With My 7 Roommates (BTS FF)

I was finishing up my breakfast when I heard the doorbell ring. I looked at the time on the microwave and realized that it must be Amy coming to collect me for our ride to the airport. Both our parents weren't able to see us off due to work schedules and meetings they have. I dumped my dishes in the sink and ran to the door. Shownu Oppa grabbed my luggage that was by the door to take it and place it in his trunk. Amy just grabbed me screaming about how much she is going to miss me and we haven't gotten to the airport yet. My parents greeted her, then they kissed me goodbye and dad slipped me more money in my pocket. We headed out due to it is an hour drive to the airport. We have to be there early to get through security as well. 

Shownu Oppa was playing some tunes through his phone in the car. Amy and I would sing along until he decided to play the switch game, where he randomly shuffles the songs and we have to keep up with the lyrics and the songs were constantly changing. Some I got stumped because I didn't recognize the intro into the songs. So Amy and Shownu Oppa beat me in the first two rounds.

Next thing we all knew we were pulling up into the airport drop off and departure area. Amy's brother got out and took our bags from the trunk. Since it's only temporary parking for the drop off Amy and I gathered our belongings and each grabbed a trolley to place our bags on to wheel to the bag check in counter. After paying for our additional bags at the counters we went to look at the boards to see where our respective flights were taking off from and how much time we had to spend together before heading to our gates. 

We didn't have much time so we picked the most neutral spot between our gates on the second floor and decided to grabs drinks at Starbucks. After placing our orders at the counter, Amy and I grabbed a seat closest to the pickup station to not waste time once the orders were ready. We chatted about how excited we were to begin this adventure and of course how much we'll miss each other. 

Amy: I'm worried that you will forget all about me being your BFF once you get to know your new roommates. Shoot you are the most likable person I have ever known. I just know your roommates are going to love you. Remember how we met each other, I bumped into you in the hallway at school and then dragged you to the cafeteria when it was time to have lunch because I didn't feel just saying sorry was enough. We've been inseparable ever since. 

Sumni: Yeah, I thought you were crazy for grabbing onto my hand like you did the minute the bell rang. Screaming come on slow poke we have to hurry before the good stuff is all gone. I have never regretted letting you pull me along that day. But I honestly thought you weren't of sound mind for doing that to someone you didn't even know. 

Amy: Well, I feel all loved and warm inside after hearing you thought I was a crazy person.  Seriously I wasn't going to kidnap you I didn't tell you where we were going in the first place. I'm not sure crazy people announce that I kind of envision that they just abduct you and leave you wondering what's going to happen along the way.

Sumni: Well after hearing your explanation of that I guess you are right that you had no intention of abduction since you did say hurry up slow poke before all the good things are taken in the cafeteria. 

I went up to grab our orders and came back to sit down, when Amy, as usual, grabs her things right off the tray. I swear this girl is totally impatient when it comes to food. If I am not careful she'll rip my fingers off trying to get her stuff off the tray. She is a straight food savage. 

We check the time and realize that we had better start heading to our respective gates. We cleaned up our food and beverages and through the trash into the bin. Walking out of Starbucks arm in arm. We were still reminiscing about the past as we walked towards the escalators to head to the second floor where our boarding areas were located. After getting on the escalators the realization kicked in that we're not going to see one another for a while unless one of us visits the other. We got off the escalator and walked about 10 paces to the right of it so as not to be in the way of other people coming off the escalator. We grabbed each other and both started bawling our eyes out.  "I'll miss  you, buddy, you better write, take pictures, and video chats with me a frequently." Amy and Sumni said together.  As we dabbed our eyes with the tissues that we each carried with us in our purses, we began to slowly walk away from each other. 

The announcements over the loud speaker alerted us both that it was time for us to board our flights. So waving goodbye to each other we jogged to our gates until we no longer could see each other. 

Sumni Pov:

I arrived at my gate and gave the lady my passport, ticket, and id. After she checked me in she told me where to locate my seat and said to have a wonderful flight. I smiled and thanked her while walking towards the plane itself. I got on the plane and began searching for my seat. I got lucky my seat is a window seat. After getting settled in my spot, I took stock of my surroundings. I had a nice tv built inside the seat in front of me. Plenty of leg room, I also had a USB charging station in the armrest on both sides of my seat. I found the folding table to be huge. I had enough room to set my laptop on it, but I stashed my laptop in the luggage. I guess I'll just use it for my tablet instead.

I had already removed the blanket and pillows that they provided on every seat on the plane. I pulled out my headphones from my purse and put them in my ear, then I located my music app, scrolled to BTS folder and began playing the playlist I created for the plane ride. Might as well nap I have an eight-hour flight for the first leg, then an additional 6 hours after that before I arrive in South Korea. Might as well get some beauty rest.  I only want to wake up in order to eat.
