the angel has freckles
all across her nose
not just there
but on her fingers and toes
painted on the arms and every bit of skin
her ears, her cheeks, even her chin.
the freckles on her face
dance when she smiled
darting around her face
jumpy and wild
her freckles are always a nice hello
so nice and bold
never lost in shadow
