The Wolf I Never Knew I Had(hold)

Prologue

I know this is an prologue but it's like a chapter one it's important to the story line PLEASE READ. I like to thank you for reading my book. I have not yet revised this book yet so if there are spelling errors/ grammar mistakes simply point them out but don't over do it.  The cover pictures are not mine so no rights reserved, but I did make the covers

❤︎Emily's P.O.V❤︎

"Run go I'll hold them back, go save her run far from here", Yelled a manly voice that was full of demand, force and authority.

" I can't leave you", now it was a quiet female talking.

I looked up seeing a big full moon. There was so much growling and yelling that it filled my ears as the wind blew past me. Then the same man as before was talking again, but much more faint this time.

"Go I love you be safe please go," the voice was almost familiar. When I opened my eyes I was looking at a beautiful women with the same emerald eyes as me.

I lifted my hand but it was small like a baby's. The women also had similar hair to mine brown, but mine was a few shades darker.

I moved my head and I noticed we were in a forest. The trees were zooming by at abnormal human speed.

"Hey look here it's ok I'm right here." Now the women was running beside me, looking at me, but I could see sadness written all over her face. It hurt to look at her so sad. Her voice was soothing, and eventually I relaxed and stopped crying. I touched my still wet face. I didn't even notice I was crying. But she hadn't stopped running, she just kept going.

It seemed like forever, watching her run, but it was maybe only a few minutes. She finally slowed down, jogging then came to a complete stop.

A building came into view. Bright and intense lights were coming off of it, as if it was glowing. I could hear cars on a high-way hear the building. I was warm and rapped up in a blanket. I soon became colder and noticed that the women was putting me down onto the ground. My body came in contact with the cold ground.

"I love you Emily both your father and I." I began crying once again and yelling at the women not to leave me alone but it was as if she couldn't hear me. Then she started to cry.

She placed a peace of paper on my chest. I kept crying and begging the women, who I now figured out was my mother, not to leave me. She knocked on the door and ran away. My crying and yells got louder and louder I couldn't stop.

"EMILY! Wake up your dreaming."I suddenly woke up to my pillow soaked and a familiar voice, I was also soaked in sweat gross I thought. I opened my eyes to my mother my adoptive mom. I never met my birth parents.

"Sorry mom really bad dream.", I said sincerely

"Oh honey it's fine I just wanted to make sure you were ok?" She sounded genuinely concerned.

"Ya I'm fine just a dream, mom can I ask you something"
"Of course honey."

"It's just that the dream seemed so real." I said brutally honest but it just seemed so real.

"Oh hon dreams can do the to people make it seem so real or like it's already happened." She sounded nervous and uneasy about what happened. I could hear her heart beat go faster but then calm down again.

"Ok mom thanks", we sat in silence for about a minute before she spoke .

"Ok you should go back to bed it's a school night and you need some sleep."

I looked into her eyes and saw that she was drained of all her energy. I could usually read people's emotions really well.

"Good night mom, love you", I said as she got off my bed and went to the door. But before she left she turned around and looked at me.

"Love you too Em." And with that she walked out leaving me alone in my bedroom. I got the feeling she was hiding something from.

I was to tired to worry about it. But what I was really going to ask her if she knew more about my birth parents and how I got here with them. I knew it wasn't the time.

Also this wasn't the first time I've had this dream try like thirty and now they are getting more and more vivid. I've had one every day this week. But I tried not to worry about and fall asleep...

Also another disclaimer that this is my first werewolf book and probably won't be my last but I don't know everything about werewolves so if I get something wrong I'm sorry.
