The Box
Let me out! I scream as the echo repeats. "Why did you put me in this box?" I ask expecting no answer. Tick, Tick, Tick goes the count-down clock "Great," I mutter "5 minutes to go till I die."
The walls are getting closer & closer with every tick of the clock. All I know is that I'm stuck in a tall narrow metal box. With, a pair of blunt scissors, duct tape, 9 meters of rope, super glue, a bottle of water, a chocolate bar and a pair of bolt cutters on the roof next to a chained trapdoor. My only way out.
It's dark and damp with little sunshine coming through the edges of the trap door. I need a plan, I think to myself. "Where's that super glue and tape," I say "Blasphemy! Where are those scissors?"
I think back to the reason I'm here. I got a letter taped to my bedroom window addressed to me Torrin Starkwood. It said something along the lines of this.
Dear Torrin Starkwood,
You are accepted to "Evil Genius Academy" EGA. You are expected to run away from home and complete a task for your wellbeing and to fulfil your scholarship. If you leave a note for any loved ones death will apply.
Yours truthfully,

Professor Cameron Hurtful
If I had of known my seventeenth birthday would start like this I would have tried to persuade Lola to talk to me. Lola. Sweet Lola, my darling Lola. We had known each other since we were 14. Now I have lost her for good if I could take back what I said I would've. I had confessed how much she meant to me and how I would love her forever. Her words back to me were 'I don't love you the same way.' Even just thinking about her words stung and broke my heart to dust with every syllable. My heart was now incased in the box. The box of broken hearts, the box of lifeless souls, the box of death.
