There I sat with Louis on my lap whimpering and squirming, his dirty dummy bobbing in his mouth, comforting him only slightly. The worst part though, was not that Louis was squirming on my lap, nor was it he was whimpering no, the worst part was......I was stuck in traffic.
I had been sitting in the same spot for a good ten minutes, and we were an hour away from home. To make matters worse, Louis was still not wearing a nappy, and I had no idea how long it would take for the traffic to start to move. But to no avail, it's still hadn't moved. As inpatient's grew within every driver stuck in the horrible London traffic, poor little Louis whimpered louder and shuck with more violence, as car horns honked in every direction. I started to rub Louis leg and whisper sweet nothings into his ear, trying to relax the poor shaken up boy, my efforts were futile. Little Louis flinched away from my touch, and started to rock back and forth, continuing to whimper and squirm. I didn't know what to do, all I wanted to do was to get Louis home, but instead we were stuck in the same position for God knows how much longer.
After another ten minutes we moved...an inch, and little Louis still had not stopped squirming and whimpering, it made my heart ache, his squirming and whimpering had gotten worse and his muscles had tightened up, and I knew a repeat of at the orphanage was on it's way, and all I could do was let it happen, and that hurt the most.
As time continued to pass by and we continued to stay in the same position, I watched as my little Louis, pulled his legs up to his chest, he clenched onto my shirt, spinning around so his head was buried into my abs, while his lower half sat on my stomach, and legs dangled just past my hips.
I gently rubbed his back, and whispered "It's okay, you're okay, let go Louis, let go" I loud sob was heard, as warm liquid drenched the bottom of my shirt through to my stomach, and the strong scent of urine hit my senses. I continued to rub his back and held him in my arms, as he continued to cry. I held his little butt in the palm of my hand. "Good boy, it's okay, it's okay" he shock his head against my chest, I felt him tense up, a loud liquid fart, sounded throughout the car, his sobs wracked through his body, the smell of shit and urine wafted around the car, while his pants continued to become heavier. "Oh Buddy, it's okay, it's alright" I whispered, I leaned down and kissed the top of his head, continuing to rub his back. It broke my heart to see my little Louis so torn up, "It's okay, it's okay"
After another ten minutes, Louis was still a sobbing mess, and I continued to try and reassure him that everything was alright. I decided to check the radio to see if they could tell me, how much longer I could be stuck in traffic. I turned on the radio and one of my favourite songs 'How To Save A Life' by The Fray blasted through the speaks, and at that exact moment, my little Louis became silent and a gentle tapping was felt against my ribs. I looked down to find Louis' head turned to the side, his hand gently tapping in perfect timing to the song. I watched Louis as I changed the station to someone talking, and instantly Louis started to cry, and his hand had stopped moving, I turned it back and he was quite again, and his gentle tapping continued in perfect timing. A loud car horn was heard from behind me, I looked up to find the traffic in-front of me, was moving at a fast pace.
Half an hour later, the traffic had well and truly cleared, and we were thirty minutes from home. I looked down at little Louis to find, he had fallen asleep. Cute little snores could be heard around the car, his face pouting slightly. The music that was playing was interrupted by a loud whimper, I looked down to find little Louis moving about, his whimpering becoming louder, I watched a tears started to roll down his cheek. I quickly looked up at the road, and then back at Louis, "Shh Buddy, it's okay, you're okay" I whispered, rubbing his back gently and kissing the top of his head. I looked back at the road again, and realised we were only ten minutes from home, I looked at Louis again and watched as he looked up at me, he started rubbing his eyes, and feel silent again, listening to the music playing in the back ground, which was one of the songs written by the boys and I, 'Little Things'
I pulled up into my drive way, parked the car and turned off the engine. I looked down at Louis, and he had woken up as soon as the music had stopped. "Hey Buddy, welcome home" I whispered gently kissing the top of his head, he flinched away slightly. I picked up his teddy that had fallen to the ground during the trip, I lifted the dry blanket from my lap, and got out of the car with Louis in my arms. His pants still heavy and wet, along with my shit still soaked through, making believe he had wet again.
A sigh left my lips, as I walked into my house. As soon as I entered, I noticed the difference. It was obvious a small child lived here now. A high chair sat in the corner, baby bottles were sat on the kitchen counter, along with a formula, bibs, and a dummy. In the living room, was a container of building blocks, a stack of movies, a play table, and another container filled with different toys. "Well Louis, looks like Paul did a good job, this is your home now" I said smiling at the boy in my arms, he looked around the room with caution. "Come on, let's get you all cleaned up"

Hello My Cupcakes,
I'M BACK! Sorry it took so long to write, I blame my brain, for not knowing how to write this chapter, so.... sorry if it's bad, it was tricky.
How are you all? I hope you are all well.
I am on holidays now, so hopefully I am able to write more...no promises! 1022 words for this chapter, I think that's pretty good.
My personal favourite gif on the side! :) You'll probably see it a lot! :)
Song To The Side 'How To Save A Life' Video's not working, but I'm sure most of you will have heard the song before anyway! If you haven't, the external link will be that song! :)
This chapter is dedicated to @ShutterSunflower for her lovely comment on Chapter 1.
