Chapter One : New town

Bump bump bump, boxes are falling and people are honking at each other, I'm just sitting here, singing and driving. Moving into a new town is hard, you won't know many people, sometimes it's for the best, to protect other people.
" you know, I'm so happy your moving in with me! " I turn to the side and looked at my friend, " yeah, I am too " I replied back, " are you gonna miss Derrick? " Shelby asked, " yeah, but he might visit sometimes, I only live like 5 hours away " I said " five hours is long honey " Shelby said, I thought about what she said, I knew she was right, but, maybe Derrick will visit, you never know. " can we take a stop? I wanna get some chips " Shelby asked, " yeah, I'm kinda hungry " I said. We drove for a few more minutes until we got to a corner store, I parked the car and got out, I looked to my side and saw these twins, they were so cute, they looked at me and waved, I didn't know who they were, so I just smiled back " OMG!! Ethan Grayson! " Shelby Shouted, " Who is that? " I asked " your new neighbors, they're famous cute and single " Shelby said to me as she leaned close just to elbow me. The twins started to walk in our direction, I didn't know what to do so I just stood there, frozen. " Hey guys! Meet your new neighbor! She's moving in with me " Shelby said enthusiastically, " hey, what's your name " a deep but so sexy voice said, I looked up only making eye contact with one of the twins, I didn't know who was who, but there was a long pause before I answered his question, " Alina " I answered, what's yours? " I asked " you idiot! " Shelby said than reaching out her hand to smack me,  " my names Grayson, I go by gray, but you can call me what you want" Grayson said winking at me, I blushed, " wow, great way to impress our new neighbors, she probably hates you now, you idiot " the other twin said, which I'm now assuming is Ethan, " did I bother you? " Grayson asked, " no, I'm fine " I replied quietly, " well I gotta go, I'm gonna get us some snacks and drinks, I'll be right back " Shelby said walking away, I really wished she didn't leave, I didn't want to be all alone, with them. I just stood there looking at the ground, I could feel someone's eyes on me, I know, it's weird but, it's true, " So Alina, you excited to move in? " Grayson asked, I nodded, Grayson hugged me, pushing me onto the car, his body felt so warm. Of course, I hugged him back, he grabbed onto me, holding on, and it felt, amazing. " that was a welcome to Los Angeles hug " Grayson said, I bite my lip, he noticed and smiled back.
" well, we gotta go now, we have to film a video, we'll see you around " Ethan said, I smiled and said see ya, Grayson winked at me, I think he likes me, but I don't know yet. I went back in the car and sat in the passenger seat, it was Shelby's turn to drive anyway, so I just fell asleep. I had a dream about my dad, he died 5 years ago, and I really miss him, every once in a while I see him in my dreams, he's one who knew how to make me laugh and smile, and I mean like crazy. My mom wasn't around much, her and my dad always fought, and she would leave to go drink, or party with a friend. She's around a little more, but we don't talk much. " wake up! Alina! " a faint voice yelled, I open my eyes just to see Shelby's face in front of mine screaming in my face, " is she awake? " Ethan said, I turn over and see Ethan, he smiled at me, I smile back, " I'm awake " I said with a raspy voice, " you need to unpack in your room, I'll make some food for you, I have to cover a night shift for someone " Shelby said, I nodded. I got out of the car only to seeing Grayson with no shirt on lifting one of the big, heavy boxes. " oh! Um let me help you! The box is really heavy " I said, I saw a Ethan give Grayson an ugly look, I didn't know what it meant. " no it's fine, I got it " Grayson said smirking, " So if you wanna be my lover, you gotta get with my friends! Making love forever!! Friendship never ends! " I turn over making a panicked face at Ethan, I drop the box and run to my side of the car getting my phone, Derrick was calling me. " Hey, Derick! " I said " Hey babe! I miss you, how's Los Angeles? " Derrick said " it's been good so far! The drive was long but fun " I said " Can we video chat tonight? " Derrick asked " yeah of course! " I said "okay well I have to go help my mom, I love you babe, bye! " Derrick said " bye love you! " I said. I grabbed my box and went over to the front door, and went up the stairs to my room, it was gray with some black polka dots. I loved it.
