Muling nag-play sa utak ko ang sinabi kanina ni Austin. He might not make it...

"Anong sinasabi mo Austin?" tanong ko sa kanya.
I cupped his face with my pair of petite hands, slowly caressing his cheeks with my thumbs. Rising on his hands and knees, he leaned down to kiss me on my forehead.
"I have to go, Autumn."
He was about to get off the bed, but when I held his hand, he stilled his movements. Tumingin siya sa akin at nagtama ang aming mga mata. On my knees, I locked my arms around his neck and pulled him into a hug.
"Make sure you make it. Hindi tayo bati kapag hindi ka nakarating, wala akong escort."
He pulls away and flashes me a promising smile. No words were needed, his smile alone said that he will make it.

I snapped back to reality when I heard my mother's voice, "Autumn, are you ready? Lalabas ka na."
