Getting better

I sit there the 200lb weight in my hands as pump it up and down furiously . Yeah feel the burn . It had been a week since I had seen Alica and it got me furious . I say up from dropping the weights . Moving to the treadmill my lycan body beginning to burn hard after my daily training my form was beyond toned , I was ripped for jack shit and had still got further to go . I kicked up the speed on treadmill  it was hitting about 50mph and I was beginning break a sweat as my feet pounded on the treadmill I smelt a burning . I quickly stop the machine to see I had nearly burned both my shoes and the rubber belt it had . I move over to the abs machine working it till I feel a burn beyond anything imaginable . "Sir are you ready for your sparring session?" The butler asks me
"Yeah thanks dude " I reply . He had helped me I still hadn't told anyone of my wolf . "Erm Trent if I were to tell you something almost impossible would you help me and believe me ?"
"Of course sir , it may be my job but the amount of effort you have put in shows your commitment and if it will help you I am certain i will be able to forgive you ."
"Trent I'm a lycan " I say bluntly stepping into the ring .
"But sir how is that possible?"
"No bloody clue but I am to strong to be like my father and I'm not even done training ." I say .
He take off his suit showing his sparring gear . We both adopt the stance . "Well I must say your technique and physique have improved but might I ask who is this Alica you keep muttering about?"
"She a nobody ." I say brashfuly .
"Well however this nobody is she will be lucky to meet you."
"She only knows my first name."
"Ohh she doesn't know your from this household? "
"No " I say angrily as I throw the first punch . It connects with his face square on and sends Trent flying into the solid concrete pillar at the end of the room .
"Shit dude you alright ." He staggers out from the crumbling pillar and eyes me . "I believe you eyes are golden at the moment." Go on Jake way to alpha out ! "Apparently I used my alpha side?"
"Ahh yes , best we hit the books to get an idea of how you biological and scyological traits work ."
"Great meet you at the library after I eat . " I say as my belly grumbles . I walk to the shower room quickly running a Luke warm shower . Drying my now tiered body I walk over to my room in the east wing of the mantion passing some of the maids who now oogled my body their eyes turning from their natural colour to a deep Crimson , they all wanted me . . I open my door and walk in opening my closet to take out my old black shirt and dark jeans . Stickin a pare of underware on and my socks . I pad down to the kitchen throwin the shirt on . I open the fridge taking out the micro meal that was sat In there for me . And grabbing an apple . "Son I have some news." My father says from behind me . "Go on?" I ask while I sit the burger with cheese in the mircrowave . "We will be hosting the annual ball in a week and you are expected to participate , here is the guest list so you may be able to make small talk . I here the beep , taking out my burger I close the small door and switch it off. Taking the occasional bite of my burger I peruse the guest list to find one name . Alica Crimsonfang .
"Okay , I'll attend ." I say a little exit meant entering my voice . "Good you understand that your mother and I understand your difficulty with vampire customs and politics , what with you being human ."
"Yeah yeah , I'll take my bite and she will of me . After all there is a name that peeked my interest on the list."
I say snobbishly . "Ohh and who might have peeked your interest?" My father asks in excitement . "Ohh but why would I tell you ? After all vampires do not share secrets easily " I say teasing him . "Too true son , but what is this?" He says pulling up my shirt to reveal my newly defined physique. "What the ... " he starts . "Am I not allowed to work out dad?" I ask angrily . Calm down you'll show him us ! I quickly calm myself down . "No but I thought that you were human . "
"Mabeys I got a little vampire strength " I teased him again .
"Okay okay , I will let it slide for now . But you will tell me how you managed that ."
"I will when I know more , promise."
I say , knowing that when I promised my dad and he promised me we would always keep it . "Okay I promise to wait ." He says back . I place my plate in the dishwasher and begin my walk to the west wing library.
