JUGHEAD'S POV 11:47 Pm

"WHY ARE YOU TELLING ME THIS NOW? HAYLEY?",I rose my voice.

"I'm sorry but I needed to tell someone. The Mikaelson's insisted that I shouldn't. I feel horrible for not telling Betty that it was all a trap.",Hayley said with a broken voice.

"She trusted you all and you didn't trust me enough to be told the truth.",I said.

"At first I thought I would get through it but it became very hard to make her believe that she is still pregnant but she is not. It was all a setup.",Hayley roamed around with palm in her face.

"Why are you telling me this?",I asked.

"Because she needs to know the truth and you can make her understand.",she said.

"We knew that she wouldn't come easy. So we tricked her into saying yes to transfer my baby which I have inside me now. We did it to bring her here with us. The blood which I coughed,the spell, it was all false. The spell which we practiced was to link her to New Orleans so that she couldn't run away.",she rambled.

Atleast she wasn't hurt. Thank God.

I understand why they want her here, to find answers.

"Do you know what will she do after she knows that you were lying to her all this freaking time? She will try to run away from you.",I said.

"She can't go out there , it's too dangerous. She is a duvelyn,wraith a soul eater. She can even turn, as her powers are rising. I need you to make her understand. And convince her to not to leave us. I hate it when I lie to someone else whose heart is so pure. I don't care what anyone thinks,I am not gonna lie to Betty anymore."Hayley said looking right in my eye.

I nodded my head and got confused so I asked,"Wait what? Turn?"

She let out a sigh and continued," A Wraith can turn. Yes. But they can lose control easily."

"Amazing.",I let out a gasp.

"How is the baby now?",I said.

"It's okay. You are the only one who can make her understand not Klaus not Freya not anyone."

"I still can't believe Freya did this.",I said looking down.

"Freya thinks that family is more important and she go through any costs to save her family."

Betty's POV

12:01 AM

"Clymene knows."

"What happened?", Jughead lifted me up.

"Magic is always tracked by Clymene. When we used magic to me to get to her,talk to her she knew something was wrong and she was coming for Irlene and me,she woke me up and then I don't know what happened....",I said panicking.

"It is okay. Dead spirits hanging between the alive and dead can't use magic or hurt us. Today is the day of liber est magicae. As soon as the clock striked to 12 AM,the day started. Thank God we finished our spell before this day or something would have really get wrong. I am sorry I didn't tell this before.",Freya said.

"So now we are free? Like free free?",Archie called out from behind.

Freya turned around and replied,"Looks like this is your lucky day. No magic,no trap."

Archie lit up a smile as I automatically smiled at him.

I could feel Jughead gazing at me,but I didn't look. After what happened yesterday. I don't know what's gonna happen when we talk face to face.

I mean it felt good but it looked like he was interested but something looked missing.

"Well?",Archie looked at me.

"What?",I asked.

"What do you mean by what? We are free!",Archie lit up a smile.

"Well it lasts for only today.",I said gloomily.

"But that doesn't mean you are gonna sit here like a prisoner,are you? Let's go outside and have hang around. Its the only chance we have got.",Archie insisted.

"Okay. But we come back before the clock strikes 12.",I said.

"Done.", Archie said quickly like he already planned to say it.

I smiled gallantly at him and he did the same.

AU POV//

2:00PM

Jughead was still nervous and frightened to what Betty would do if she knew the truth. Veronica was practicing her magic with witch covens residing near the graveyard as she got to know more about her past and witchcraft.

Betty is slowly learning how to control her magic with the means of having an intention of not hurting anyone.

Betty snuggled into her sheets having a good sleep since she had a long night with the Mikaelson's.

A dark figure walked up to her and pulled off the sheets in a flash.

Betty got up in an instant with a heart running like a wild animal with utter fear.

She fearfully turned around to see who is behind her and she gripped her hands to use her magic to protect herself.

The shadow grew smaller and she saw the figure coming in the light.

"ARCHIE! YOU JUST SCARED THE CRAP OUTTA ME!",She screamed hard in rage and snatched the sheets from a laughing Archie and wrapped it around herself.

"Come on Betty! It's the day where we free from Clymene! Let's have some fun!",he pinched away the sheet and Betty growled.

"ARCHIE ANDREWS DO YOU WANT ME TO EAT YOUR SOUL?",She snapped as Archie laughed softly.

"Good thing for you that I cannot compel otherwise we would have made an amazing history together.", Archie winked.

Betty ignored his sentence and continued,"If I would want to go with you? Where would I go? A music station?"

"No silly if you want to come with me which you will by the way,it will be a surprise."

"But you said yes before. We had a deal.",he said with poppy eyes.

"I was sleepy and no one deals with a person who is not sober."

"Too late Elizabeth. You are coming.",Archie declared.

Betty paused and looked at his face and continued,"You know what? I think I will just sleep.",and she pulled the sheets up and then Archie argued.

"No no no pass. We are going.",he softly pulled the sheets down and pulled Betty's hand and made her sit up with her messy hair.

"Go get ready I don't want to take a girl who has hair like a flock of birds are living on it.",he said.

Betty slapped his arm and he started chuckling. After Betty seeing Archie laughing she let out a laugh too.

What they didn't know was that Jughead was listening them through the door. He was silent all the way and when he heard the laughter and joy he walked away. Why?

Archie had an amusing trip planned for Betty but she doesn't know it yet.
