"Can I just tell them we're okay?" I asked her, she gave me a doubting look, "Fine but make sure they dont know where we are." "I know." I rolled my eyes and looked back down to my phone and started typing.

Me: We're fine. We'll be home on Monday Ily.

Then I went to Ethans contact and said the same thing,

I sent to him. Its two in the morning over there so I knew they werent up. Haley and I strolled over to the baggage claim, and waited for our baggage to come around. When ours came around we grabbed them. "We have to call an uber." I told Haley and she groaned. "I know you dont like ubers but we kind of have to, my other car is in the garage at the house." I told her. "Can we even get one at five in the morning?" She asked, "I think so..." I said going on the app. "I guess we can." I shrugged my shoulders, "Now we wait." I say and walk over to the benches outside of the airport.

"I miss this place." Haley sighed as we walked into the place we spent most of our childhood. It took us an hour to get to the house from the airport. And I am tired. "Everything is still here." I smiled and walked upstairs. I went on the balcony that overlooked the beach. "Remember when we'd sneak put with our boyfriend's and go to the beach?" Haley laughed as she walked up behind me, "Good times." I smiled, "Yea before you know who turned into a jerk." She rolled her eyes, I mumbled a small yea and I went into my old room. "We need to go to the store, theres no food here." Haley shouted, I groaned, "Right now?" I yelled back, "Yea, Im hungry and theres nothing here!" She shouted again. I sighed and went back downstairs, "Lets go." I say as I grabbed my keys and went to my car, "Ugh I missed this car." I ran to the drivers side and got in. I drove to the closest open supermarket, "What are we getting?" I asked Haley, "Groceries." Haley told me and went inside, "A weeks worth." She added, I groaned and followed her as she put stuff in the cart. My phone started ringing, it was Grayson. "Why is he up?!" Haley whisper shouted to me and I shrugged my shoulders. "Its like five over there!" She added in, "I know." I replied, "Im gonna answer it." I said "You made the rules." She pointed to me, "You can talk to Ethan once if I can talk to Grayson once." I said, "Deal." I pressed answer and slowly put the phone up to my ear, "Hi baby." I say innocently as if I havent answered him for like 3 days, "Okay first off, what the fuck." He said, and I knew I was going to hear it, "Gray im sorry." I sigh into the phone, "Where the fuck are you, and why have you been ignoring Ethan and I? Is it something we did-" "No its not I-" "Then what is it? Because you disappear out of nowhere, and dont talk to Ethan and I, then I wake up with a random text that you'll be home Monday. Whats going on why arent you home we miss you." This just made me feel even worse, I sighed "Its been hard Grayson. Haley and I needed a break. I cant tell you where we are, but I can tell you we're okay, we're safe, you dont have to worry about us. I promise I will be home on Monday, no later. But babe you need sleep its only like four over there." I told him, "What do you mean Over there?! Youre in a different state?!" "Yea but I-" "And you also wanted break?" He asked kind of quieter, "No I didnt mean it like that!" "Then how did you mean it Cal? Id like to know." He said kind of sarcastically, "Are you fucking kidding me? Remember your comment on my instagram post? Or the post of you and I? Your fans hate me Gray! My phone is not only blowing up with you and E texting me, but with your fans harassing me! And not only that people from my school... heck I dont even need to explain that! I didnt say that I wanted a break from you at all! I randomly left cause I knew you'd want to go with me, and you would do everything in your power to go with me, but if I let you I'd get attacked! I cant love you without people hating me for it!" I say into the phone, Grayson was quiet on the other end for a second before speaking up, "Well if I'm that much of a burden, then maybe we shouldnt be together." He says, "Gray wai-" "Bye Cal."
