    Natsu's pov
"Bye Erza!" I heard Y/n yell to Erza, but she just kept staring at her cake. I can't believe they hugged! I'm the only one who can hug her like that! I got angry. I can't believe I'm jealous over a girl I just met. But she looked up to me. I have to be stronger, and I have to help her learn. 'That's it!' An idea popped into my head. I'll teach her, and help her with her powers, and we'll get closer and closer! No one can steal her away from me...

Wow. I really need some sleep.

"Bye Gray!" She smiled at him and hugged him again, but it was a light hug. She walked out of the Guild doors, with her exceed lying on top of her head. As I watched her leave I walked out of the bathroom. I've become really good at eavesdropping, which might be a bad thing. Without saying a word I stared at Gray who only smirked at me. I growled and stomped over to him.
"Stay away from her." I demanded keeping eye contact.
"And what if I don't. She's my friend. It's not like I can just stop talking to her." His smile faltered. And that made my blood boil. I knew I didn't make any sense. I shouldn't be so uptight to Gray, he was just being a good friend. Like everyone else in the Guild, he wanted to protect her if anything happened. I sighed.
"I'm sorry Gray, I guess I'm just a little tired." I looked down in defeat. This made Gray's eyes widen. He seemed surprised, but I guess I would be too if I saw the only guy who never gave up a fight, apologize.
"Woah, hey Natsu. It's okay. I understand how you feel. Natsu, I think you like her. Like more than anyone else in the Guild. Natsu, I think you found someone, and it's about time." He laughed. All I did was blush.
"I don't know how I feel about her yet. She just...drives me crazy!" I said. My face getting even hotter. Maybe I do have feelings for her, but I don't want to rush it. I want learn more about her, and tell her everything about me.
"Your blush says otherwise." He snickered.
"Shut it. Come on Happy, I'm tired." I waved over to Happy, who was about to pass out. He soon flew onto my head closing his eyes. I waved bye to Erza and Gray, and walked out the Guild doors. I started walking back to me and Happy's place taking the long way home to see the beautiful scenery, when I spot a familiar face. I walked over to her and gently shook her awake.
"Y/n? What are you doing out here?" I asked looking worried that something may have happened.
"Natsu? What do you mean?" She seemed confused.
"Well for starters, you're sleeping outside." I softly chuckled.
"I always sleep outside, me and Jess cuddle under a tree. Where else am I supposed to sleep?" She asked with a questionable face. Man, I really gotta teach this girl some stuff.
"Come on." I got up, grabbing her hand. "I'll show you a much better place to sleep." I told her and started to walk hoping she'd follow. She smiled and started walking towards me. It was quiet, but the silence wasn't awkward, it was peaceful. I saw her yawn out of the corner of my eye, and sway. She fell limply onto my shoulder, and I looked down at her. I chuckled, picking her up bridal style, carrying her the rest of the way to my house. She was really light, like she hadn't had a proper meal in years. I frowned knowing she had to survive out in the wild for over five years. It made me desperate to make up those years to her, even though I didn't do anything wrong. As we reached my house I quietly announced her name.
"Y/n. Wake up. We're here." She slowly opened her eyes and looking up into mine. She blushed, which made me blush. Oh that's right! I was still carrying her. I let her down and opened my front door.
"Welcome to my house." I stated still keeping my voice low. I welcomed her in by my arm, and she slowly took a couple of steps. She curiously looked around, wide eyed, and mouth opened. I chuckled at how cute she looked, and motioned her to my bed room. I'd allow her to sleep on my bed while I took the couch. I wouldn't want to have my guest feel uncomfortable. She sat on the bed, and opened her eyes even wider, smiling like never before.
"It's so...soft!" She spoke. She laid down under the covers and rested her head on the pillow. She sighed into the softness of my bed and softly closed her eyes, and opened them again. She looked at me, worry becoming noticeable in her eyes.
"O-Oh is this yours?" She asked me, quickly uncovering herself to get up. But I quickly put my hand up, telling her to stop.
"Please, take the bed. I'll just take the couch."  I showed her my signature grin, making her smile back.
"If you say so." She stated softly, getting back under the covers and closing her eyes. Once I thought she was asleep, I turned around to walk to my living room.
"Thank you, Natsu." I heard her say. I blushed looking back at her. I chuckle barely audible for anyone to hear.
"For what?" I asked her. I didn't really do much.
"Everything." She breathed out before falling into a deep slumber. I blushed. She was really good at making me do that.
"You're welcome." I whispered a smile coming into my face. Crashing onto my couch, I dreamed of the day I'd tell her I loved her.
