Chapter 21: Unexpected News

* The BBQ* 

~Jeremy POV~ 

It was a sunny afternoon, in our backyard. We were expecting her parents anytime now. I was on the grill cooking hot dogs, Hamburgers, Stakes, Barts & Veggie Burgers! As Marielle was in the kitchen making to fruit & veggie trays. It had been 2 weeks since we had intercourse. I could see a change in Marielle Behavior. She was more moody than normal. Our guests were starting to arrive I kept opening the gate. For the people who forgot to use the key codes. I'm happy I had enough savings to have two beautiful homes. I turned on the pool jets and hot tub. Since the kids could play in the pool. 

My family was visiting Ohio for the first time. They were all still asleep from the time zone gap. Then Marielle was filling the white folding tables. Her adoptive & biological family started to pile into the backyard. Her nieces did cannon balls into the pool. As her nephew as nephew went to the cave. To talk to his grandmother which is something we did. For her memory to stay awhile in our hearts. I might not have gotten to meet her but she seemed like amazing mother and wife. I watched as Marielle mingled with her adoptive family as her biological father. Introduced himself to her adoptive family. Then thanking her siblings for protecting her. When I was pulled over with force by Marielle. She had lost a lot of weight after the baby. She weighed at least 155 now and I was so proud of her. 

" Jeremy & Marielle, I like you to meet. Marielle's sister and brother. This Sage, Sadie, Joey & Rider. " He pointed to each of them. Joey was a very much like Marielle. Although she was blonde and very much younger than her. Sadie was a little more hipster than punk. Sage was very girly and looked just like Marielle. Rider looked just like, his father but he was wearing a hockey shirt and jeans. I was wearing a red shirt and a pair of cargo shorts.Then a black baseball cap and my black vans. Marielle was wearing a black sun dress, and red flip flops. Her hair was styled in beach waves, her make was goth with black eye shadow. She was also wearing bright red gloss. She had recently died her hair bright red. 

"It's a pleasure, to meet you all!" Said, Marielle as she hugged them one by one. 

" I'm actually glad, to have a sister my age!" Said Sage. 

" When are, we eating?" Asked Rider.

" We are, eating as soon as everyone brings a dish!" Said Marielle.

"I'm going inside to watch tv.." Said, Sadie as she left the backyard.

Her brother Trent, and dad were helping me cook the meats & veggie burgers. As Marielle was sitting on the patio table feeding the twins. With the help of Anna who was excited to be an aunt by Marielle for the first time. Marielle's siblings were all teenagers expect sage. She was born 3 years after Marielle was born. They had the same mother and he kept her instead. I find that pretty unfair, to be honest. I watched as all our nieces and nephews were swimming in the pool. 

The adults had to yell, no running around the pool. Every 5 minutes so the kids wouldn't get hurt. Micheal whistled as it was time to eat. He began a prayer and everyone bowed our heads. After the prayer, he yelled dig in guys. My daughter made us lovely meal for everyone. I waited in line while holding two plates. Then Rocco was at my feet waiting for food. When it was my turn I made Mariells plate first. Then gave it to her then getting in line to make mine. After I finished making my plate. I sat by Marielle and, started to eat making goofy eyes at Arielle. The August heat was getting to our 4-month-old twins. So after we ate Marielle & I took the twins inside to nap. Which we had the play pen inside our room. We decided to watch Me Before You as the twins were napping. Before we back outside to enjoy the party. ~Marielle's POV~

I felt pregnant, I didn't really think I was. Until every morning when Jeremy works out. I would vomit in the bathroom and then take a cold shower. Drink a glass of strawberry lemonade then go back to sleep. I've been doing this for at least June 3rd. It's become sort of routine, I had set up a doctors appointment after Mommy & Me classes. It was tomorrow after the classes.If am I'm not telling Jeremy until our anniversary. I sat down with a marshmallow, as Jeremy was inside with the twin and his brothers. My sister sage asked me what was wrong pulling me towards the cave. 

" Marielle whats, wrong!" She asked softly.

" I think, I'm pregnant & want to hide it awhile," I said

" Can I come, with to the appointment?" She asked smiling.

" Absolutely, Sage!" I said as looked at my mom's picture.

" Are things, okay with Jeremy though?" She asked.

" Not lately to be honest!" I said sadly.

" Then make, up to him.." She said sweetly.

" He wants sex though!" I spoke softly.

" Then at least give him oral" She chuckled. 

" That could work, I'm going inside the house!" I smiled as I walked to the sliding doors. On the stone path in the garden.

As soon I got, into the house. I walked up the upstairs to our bedroom. As I walked inside Jeremy was sleeping.
