jennie
" so, as you all know you will be working on your biggest project for this year and i've already decided who'll be partnering who. i'll read out the names and you can start getting to work "
as mr choi assigned the partners and people started moving about, jennie sucked in her breath, praying that she'd at least be with someone who would actually be willing to do their part and not push it onto others.
" kim jennie and min yoongi "
jennie's eyes widened. her eyes searched for him, only to find him with a similar reaction. she got up and grabbing her pen and notes and walked over to his table.
'well this is cliche'
she sat down to the empty table next to yoongi, trying to control the heat slowly creeping up her face.
"hey," his gruff voice interrupted her train of thought.
she looked up, startled. clearing her throat, she pulled her shit together and replied, "um.. hey" smooth. "so i was thinking we could maybe do like a poster? we could draw the structure of a heart and arrow out the parts we'll be focusing on, that way it'd look more organised."
she paused and looked at yoongi. his face held an expression she couldn't place her finger on. his eyes were staring directly into hers and the corners of his lips were quirked up and twitching slightly, almost as if he was trying to stop himself from smiling. jennie furrowed her eyebrows.
" i mean if it's okay with you, of course," she quickly added.
"yeah.. yes! definitely, its a great idea. better than anything i could come up with" yoongi sat up, straightening his posture. his eyes never left hers, and she had to look away for a second because she couldn't keep up with the intensity of his gaze. "but theres one issue though. i literally cannot draw to save my life. "
jennie smiled. how endearing.
"yeah, okay."
