It all started in June 2016. I had just started being more active on twitter because I started watching YouTube more and I wanted to interact with people who did the same. The YouTubers I "supported" mainly were LeafyIsHere and Pyrocinical.
I don't wanna bore you with unnecessary details but long story short, I met A LOT of people with the same interests as me, so I started making a lot of friends and getting more into the "twitter life". I was in a lot of groupchats and I guess you could say I was pretty popular in the community - not famous, popular. Now, this is kind of a side story but I thought I'd tell you about it because it's kinda crucial.
I met a boy - not Luke - who I started being friends with because of the YouTuber LeafyIsHere. We started talking VERY often and just became really good friends overtime. His name was Justin and he lived in the US. We pretty much talked all the time, despite the timezones and all that, both of us pulled all-nighters to talk to each other. It was fun.
After a while, out of nowhere, he asked me to be his girlfriend. - (Side note: at this point in my life I had never had a boyfriend and it all seemed very exciting to me.) - I thought to myself "Wow, an online relationship? That should be fun!" so I said yes and it went downhill from there. Honestly we dated for about a week or two and broke up because I felt like we didn't talk as much and all he asked for was nudes at this point so uh, no thanks.Back on track.
About month later, I was casually on twitter at 5am and got a notification, a new follower. I clicked on the account and saw that all this account had on it was a few tweets and they followed a few people and had 0 followers. I was their first, so I decided to mess with them and say "@emma: @some1 I was your first follower, you owe me your life" and they replied back with a "@some1: Reasons why I love @emma thread" - Little did I know what was gonna happen in the future. - and it went from there. We started direct messaging each other, kinda "flirting" immediately but apparently that's a regular thing on twitter so I went with it.
We exchanged snapchats and started talking there.Honestly - and I'm being completely honest here - I kind of immediately felt a "connection" between us. It sounds weird and cliché, I know, but I swear on my life I did.
