Maya's pov
Schools has been super easily lately. Everything has gotten better in my life. Now the whole gang are sophomores. Riley came back from London and her and Lucas got back together. Nothing as changed. Shawn and my mom are happy. For once in the two years I've been in high school I got an A. After school I said bye to my friends and ran home. I came home to find no one there. I did some art while waiting for them. I got a phone call from the police telling me to come to the hospital right away. I sprinted to the hospital. When I got there everyone was sitting waiting for me. I walked straight up to Cory and asked where are they. Cory didn't answer I said it again but louder where are they. Again he didn't answer so I screamed WHERE ARE THEY. Riley grabbed my hand and sat me down. Maya calm down please there in surgery they'll be okay she said.ok I said at this point tears were streaming down my eyes. I heard the doors open I looked over to see mom on a medical bed. I saw how awful she looked. The doctors took her into her hospital room. I waited till the doctors left the room. I practically ran in to see her. I sat down next to her and held her hand. Mom what happened I asked. Baby doll I don't think I can hang on much longer she said. But mom the heart rate monitor says your fine I said. Maya I overheard I lost too much time blood i'm not gonna make it she said. When I heard those words everything sounded muffled. I snap out of my trance and looked at the heart monitor. It was starting to get lower. Maya I want you to have a better life she said. But mom what will I do without you I said. Your going to move in with uncle Tony she said. The heart rate monitor was getting lower. Mom please stay I can't do this with out you I said. She grabbed my hand and pulled it towards her heart. I listened to her heart beat it was in sync with the machines. Then it stopped I looked at the monitor their was just a line. Mom mom no no please come back I said. Doctors came swarming in one pulled me out of moms hospital room. I heard the doors open and I looked over to see uncle tony. I ran to him and hugged him.
