Past Lucy Age 5 POV:

"Mommy I'm scared." I cried as I tucked on Momma's small white nightgown. She looked at me sleepily and then sat up and put heads around my waist and picked me up. I smiled, but I was still scared too.

"Oh Lucy what is the matter? You are crying baby girl." Mommy smiled at me, and then pulled me into a tight hug.

"Mommy that monster is under my bed again. Mommy he's going to eat my toes and then my my eyes." I cried out and clenched momma's cold nightgown, her body got cold so fast anymore.

"Oh my dearest Lucy, there are no scary monsters under your bed." Mommy said as she run a hand through my long golden hair.

"No you're wrong momma, please let me sleep with you." I bawled and grabbed onto her nightgown harder. A few tears landed on her palm, as she held my face.

"Of course you can my sweet little angel. Lucy there is nothing to fear in your life, but fear itself, not monster or scary things, just fear. Remember that my dear daughter."

Mommy kissed the top of my head and then we cuddled that night. I finally smiled, momma was right, no monsters.

I finally smiled, momma was right, no monsters

Lucy POV:

The first of us to race forward was my exceed and protector, Adaline. She seemed so angry. One demon raced directly towards her, it was black and looked like it was covered in tar, its eye glowed green, it had a cat-like appearance with large spikes sticking up from its back, its teeth were red, most likely blood stained from all the villagers it had eaten in the past, and its face was narrow with large razor-bladed teeth penetrating from its lean jawline. It looked strong, but Adaline looked more fierce and more determined. Adaline yelled out a battle cry as the beast leaped into the air. Before the demon even had a chance to react Adaline had already made her kill and sliced open its neck with her claws, she never stopped she just moved forward tearing each and every one of her opponents throats and jugulars out.

I was so busy watching her that I didn't realize that I had a demon racing towards me. I snapped back to my senses right before it was in view. I flew up slightly higher, I held my celestial sword up and then as the demon leaped I stabbed it in the throat, my blade went right through. Black blood oozed onto my sword, and soon the demon shattered into shards of shadows, disappearing. I flew even higher and looked down below at where the demons were. There were many different types of beasts, none seemed to be alpha's or titan's though. I felt a little relief, but it was short lived, because two more demon beasts seem to be racing towards me once again.

I chanted a light spell, an orb of golden light radiated from the tip of my sword. I aimed the point of my sword at them and released the orb, it hit both of them at the same time.  One screamed out in pain the other attempted to flee. I smiled bitterly and released a spear of light from my left palm, I hit the beast right in the side. Black ooze splattered onto the solid ground, it screeched and squirmed in what I imagined great pain. I let my feet touch the ground and I walked towards it.

"I will give you mercy beast, I'm sorry but it can't be helped. You chose the path of darkness and so you are an enemy to Fairy Tail, an enemy of me." I said sadly, then I looked down at it with apologetic eyes and slit its throat. Soon the demon turned to ash and blew away with the wind, I sighed and looked for the next oncoming creature.

Of course I had incoming demons chasing after me. What a pain, I thought to myself. Right now I had three rapidly running behind me. Every time one got close enough it leaped towards my soaring wings in hopes of bringing me back down to earth. Too bad for them that I was faster and more intelligent. I dodged every attack, leading them into a clearing where I could destroy them before they attacked anyone else.

I flipped around immediately as one tried to attack me again, I looked it straight in the eye and then I slashed it, the remains of its headless corpse disintegrated into black soot and I averted my eyes to my next opponent.  It leaped up from the ground and aimed its gruesome teeth towards my neck, I hit it in the snout with the back of my sword. It whimpered and lost its balance so I used the opportunity to end this fight.  Sure enough my aim was on point, but my senses weren't cooperating right now  and I hadn't noticed the third one hadn't ascended and was inches away from my left wing. I didn't have anywhere enough time to react so I had to take the hit. I flinched and a small cry escaped my lips at it bit deep into my wing. Even though the damage wasn't too horrible it was still enough to throw of my balance and I ended up crashed onto the ground with the beast still attached to my wing. I groaned and I flipped around again and kicked it off before it could get that deep of a bit in, but that didn't mean it that the injury wasn't hurting. It felt like acid was melting my feathers, of course stupid demon venom, I clinched my wing with my open hand and stared at damned jerk. It snared and made a hissing sound as it circled around me, like a wolf. I groaned again as the warmth of my blood bled through my feathers and onto my hand that was holding it. I watched the demon carefully and when it left its back right flank open I removed my bloodied hand and shot a light spear at it. The spear hit it in the flank and it cried out in shock, that was enough time for me react to its distraction. I walked towards it and shot its right front flank, making it immobile and then I ended it the same as the other ones. I looked at its body one last time and when placed my hand on my wing again.

I made my way towards Adaline and Agnes, as quickly as I could. My wing felt even worse than before, I know its just the effects of demon saliva, but it was painful. Angels and demons are made to be complete opposites, both breeds were made to defeat and kill the other. So its no surprise that demons saliva burns angels the same as angels blood and light poisons demons.

"Finally, back to the fields." I mumbled out loud. My eyes searched the fields for Adaline and Agnes, I found Adaline attacking two demons at once and Agnes was circling around the sky with quite a few strange looking bird creatures behind her.

"Good it seems that our reinforcements have come. Good."

A small smile appeared on my face, until I realized we were in the middle of a battle. I looked out at all of them again and then I placed my hand across my chest and made an enchantment to postpone the injury of my wing, to numb it so I could use my wings again to help the others. There's no way I could sit out the rest of this battle, I wouldn't be a member of Fairy Tail if I thought like that.

I took in a deep breath and I raised myself up into the sky once again and flew to the battlefield, my friends need me.

Natsu POV:

My stomach growled and I groaned as the metal deathtrap came to a stop. I felt so sick, no I was sure I was dying because of this damned train. Erza and Ice Prick were sitting across from Happy and I waiting to arrive in Clovercurn, and after that place is going to be Heartcrest and after that is Delta Ba where my Luce was.  I wish this this thing would go faster. We had this stop and one more after it until we arrived in Delta Bay and damn I was starving, but Lucy came before everything else. I sighed and groaned, then attempted to sleep for another two hours. My last thoughts before I fell asleep were of Lucy and a battlefield, I wonder what the hell that meant. There was no way she was in danger, Right? But what if she was, I wouldn't be able to live with myself if she got hurt and I wasn't there, by her side.  I just hope my dreams were just nightmares.
