[OLD]

I strolled around the school for what seemed like the fifth time that day, before taking a much needed seat on a bench. My bag sat next to me, and my blue blazer lay on top, forgotten in the heat of the summer. My black skirt was short, and my thigh high same colour socks made my legs even hotter then they were supposed to be. My white shirt wasn't see-through, and was completely spotless - perks of living with London's most clean freak aunt!

My hair, on the other hand, was long and darkened due to the sun. I know, I know, hair is supposed to become lighter when in contact with the sun for long periods of time, but my hair just seemed to hate going with scientific facts.

I stared up at the blue-ish sky, enjoying the little bit of sun England would get in the summer before it decided to bugger off and let the clouds take over. There were few birds around this area, although there were plenty of trees for them to nestle in. They probably just didn't like me, then again, not many animals like me. They seem terrified of me. No idea why, I mean, I'm a nice girl and I wouldn't dare raise my voice at handsome young men or try to rip a pretty girl's hair out!

Ha, you wish, wait no I wish.

If only I could be girly, then maybe, just maybe I would get some friends here. All I have is Patty, and I don't really get on well with her other friends. Heck, I cant even remember their names.

"I'm such a dunce." I said to no one in particular, pouting to said no one. If only I hadn't been wallowing in my own self pity then I would've noticed notorious ice god Rikkard Ambrose give me a weird look, and open his trap to speak to me. Wait, Rikkard speaks?

"A dunce is a slow learning person, a stupid person to be exact, yet you have to score an average eighty percent on each test to even dream of coming to this academy. I highly doubt you are a dunce." There he stood, Rikkard Ambrose with his dark hair and icy glare. He had a book in his hand, and his tie was slightly loose on his tee. I could spot the blue blazer spilling out of his bag, and his black trousers had stripes on them.

"Oh...The ice sculpture spoke," I stood up and poked him, much to his distain, "Oh, its really you. I'm not dreaming them." I gave him a bored expression, only for it to be replaced with worry as he gave me an icier glare then normal. Oh crap, I touched iceman! But instead of intercepting, he walked away.

"What's his deal?"

"He's always like that. Don't worry Miss Linton." I jumped out of my skin, and did my best to conceal a screech of fear. Unfortunately, a small yelp got out and I had the strange feeling that a wave of sea water splashed over me. I cautiously turned my head to Rikkard, who had taken a seat on the opposite bench from mine. I gave him my warmest smile, but I feel like it was a little bit more creepier then anticipated.

"W-wait, who are you?" I said, turning back to the guy who scared me pride less. He had blonde hair and questionable eyes. He wore the same uniform as everyone else, but he seemed more put together.

"I was a friend." He stated simply.

"'was'?"

"I resigned from being his friend and I guess I annoyed him." I stared at him, his words slowly sinking in before I took a very stupid idea into action. Damn you Lillian! Always trying to put in your own say in matters that aren't yours.

"Resigned? Resigned you say? I simply cannot begin to fathom what you think a friendship is because resigning from a friendship post is truly unbelievable and, for a lack of better words, a piss take! You should think about what you did and maybe whilst you're at it, think about why you don't have any friends at all!" I opened my mouth to say more, sentences that would have sent him to his grave a few decades too early, but Mr Know-It-All decided to butt in.

"That's quite enough. Don't worry yourself with such mediocre matters." I whip my head around to look at him, anger surging through me. As if I wouldn't want to worry myself with such mediocre matters! You cant resign from friendship, that's just ridiculous. But I was met with an uninterested face, his steel orbs shooting ice into my brown ones. It was an all out staring contest and unfortunately, he won.

"Fine." I said with a pout, and stalked off towards the school. This is going to be one hell of a school year.

The day went by normally for both me and Rikkard and I enjoyed the presence of my many friends. I drowned in my godly essence, and pranced around in dresses when I got home. It was, by far the best day of my girly life.

Hahaha! As if!

I was cranky for the rest of the day, snapping at anyone who looked at me funny or asked if I was ok. I couldn't say anything about Rikkards part of the day, but I bet it was just as crappy as mine. And the friend part? If you were listening earlier then you would've remembered that I only have one true friend. And dresses? Come on, you wouldn't see me dead in one of those.

By the time school ended, I was certain I had messed up any chance of becoming friends with everyone. Oh screwballs, there goes my high school life I dreamed of. Aw, now I crave Screwballs. (A/N if you don't know what Screwballs are, they're an ice cream in a plastic cone with a bubblegum ball at the bottom) Damn it. Maybe I can see if I can weasel my way into getting my pocket money early so I can get some. That would be bliss.

Oh well. Guess I better hit the sack then hop off to bed. So boring.

I guess the storm, met the ice. What an eventful day.
