Oh no. If Adrian finds out I was lying to him, he will hate me! I hope this goes we-
"Who's that?" Adrian cuts my thinking off.
"Um... It's uh..."
"Hey, Leah!" Harry is already over here stoping me from saying anything more. Thank you Harry.
"Um. Hi, Harry," I reply.
Adrian coughs, expecting me to explain.
"Adrian, this is Harry. Harry, this is Adrian," I say gesturing them to another.
"Hey, can we head out now? It's getting pretty late and I don't want to be up all night," Harry says. I find that kind of ironic considering he is one of the people who sang that he wanted to stay up all night until he saw the sun.
Adrian looks at me, confusion and anger in his eyes. "So when you said you had somewhere to be in the morning, this is what you meant?" he says in more of a questioning tone.
"Look Adrian, let me explain-"
"Save it!" he cuts me off.
"Uh, should I go?" Harry says awkwardly. His hand running through his curls.
"N-no. I'll be just a sec." I drag Adrian toward the lawn, away from Harry, and start talking to him.
"Adrian please!"
"What Leah? What could their possibly be to explain besides the fact that you were planning on ditching me at the theatre to go wherever this Brit wanted to take you? And on top of that, you lied! To my face, Leah! I've never been so ashamed," he says looking down.
"I actually thought you liked me. But, I see I'm wrong."
He starts walking to his car.
"Adrian, wait!" I try running after him. Before I know it. He's already gone.
I ponder back over to Harry, ignoring the fact that he wants an explanation right now.
"Can we uh, leave now?"
"Yep!" I say forcing a smile.
"Okay. Off to the bar we go!" He says in a cheerful tone.
We are silent most of the way there. The only sound is Siri telling Harry which way to go.
We are halfway through town, neither of us knowing where we are. Siri is still speaking when all of a sudden, she stops.
"No, no, no, no no! Come on!" Harry shouts.
"What happened?"
Harry lets out a sigh. "My phone died."
"Oh. Where are we?" I ask, already knowing my response.
"I don't know." Harry has no expression whatsoever.
He pulls over to a curb and completely stops the car.
"Why'd you stop the car? Shouldn't we be leaving?" I ask.
"I don't think either of us knows our way back so driving around won't get us anywhere but out of gas. Well have to walk it from here. Maybe to a gas station and get a map or something."
"What? No! I'm not going to walk! I'm staying right here!"
"Ok well you stay here, and I will go." Before I can even protest, Harry is up and out of the car.
I shout, "Fine!" Before he closes the door. I wait a good ten seconds before giving in, and hop out of the car, running to Harry who is already halfway to the nearest intersection.
