Like he promised, Harry shows up at around 6:00pm to pick me up. When I look out my front door and through the windshield of his car, he is talking on the phone. He has an annoyed look on his face and he throws his free hand up in frustration. After about a minute of talking, he hangs up and slams his fist on the steering wheel causing the horn to sound.

He frantically looks up at my front door and I quickly hide behind it, hoping he didn't see me. When I looked through the windshield of his car, I thought I saw him say "Leah." That makes me wonder if I did anything wrong. Someone could be talking about me and he could be defending me. Before I make up any more scenarios in my mind, Harry knocks on the door that I am leaning my back against.

I go for the door handle but hesitate as I think about how he would feel if he knew I was watching him talk on the phone. I need to play this off.

I peek through the window just in time to see him turn around and open the door.

"Hey, I thought I saw you in here," he says.

Oh.

"Um, yeah. Just came to get the door," I say in hopes that he will believe me. He doesn't look the least bit convinced.

"Okay?"

I can see he has his arm behind his back and I can't help but wonder what he's holding.

"So, can we go?" I ask.

"Yeah, that sounds like a good idea." He's trying to clear the tension but frowns at his failed attempt.

Harry steps aside and let's me out the door and to his car. Like a gentleman, he opens the passenger door for me and runs to the other side to get in the drivers seat.

We are ten minutes into the drive and Harry's phone starts to vibrate. He ignores it. It vibrates again and he ignores it.

"Are you gonna answer that?" I ask.

"No. It's probably one of the boys wondering where I went. I had to sneak out of our hotel building so no one knows I left." I nod.

We arrive to a fancy restaurant called The Rosebud. Mostly everyone is in a dress or tuxedo. Maybe I should have thought twice about wearing this outfit. It's a black maxi skirt with a white, fitted t-shirt, a brown sandal and black boot, and gold jewelry.

The waiter seats us at a booth. The table has a white cloth covering it and candles on Harry and I's left and right sides. He takes our drink order and returns with my Sierra Mist and Harrys's root bear.

Harry's phone vibrates again and he checks the screen before turning his phone off.

"You should have answered that! It could have been an emergency," I pester him.

"It actually wasn't really the boys." He struggles for words.

"Oh. Okay?"

"I have something to tell you," he says. He looks like he is going to pass out.

"Sure, spill."

Harry's POV

I have to tell her. I've been keeping this for far too long. She will be completely broken once she finds out the hard way and I just can't do that to her.

"The people who were calling me were my managers. You see, when Taylor and I broke up, I was seen taking your number at the concert. Management didn't like that. They think I need to cut the "player" image and either stick to one girl or stop dating all together for a while."

She looks deep in thought already. She still doesn't get it though.

"I got a call from them, they said it would be good for business if I were to date you for a few months to clear my image up."

Leah's POV

"Wait, so this was all fake? You never liked me at all," I ask. I can't believe this! This whole time I've been lied to, humiliated, cheated, taken advantage of.

"I understand if you're mad but just please-" I take off running. I don't care if I am crying. I don't care if I can't get back home. I don't care if I am limping. I don't care if I'm getting strange looks from people. I don't care about anything anymore.

I run to the ladies' room, push open a stall door and lock myself inside. My head is spinning and my eyes are probably bloodshot. All I can think about is him. I was so naive. I was an idiot to think that a famous person would just randomly ask me out. How could I be so stupid?

I get up from my spot on the toilet and leave the stall. Just before I leave, I fix my makeup. My hand is on the door handle when I hear a loud gunfire. Screams echo throughout the building and I am left confused, yet terrified. More shots are heard and the screaming dies down a little. I can't help but think about Harry. Is he ok? Did he get shot? Is he dead? I have to make sure he is ok.

Slowly, I crack open the door and meet eyes with someone in all black who is holding a gun. I panic and swiftly shut the door. They saw me. The person shooting other people saw me.

That's when I hear light footsteps coming toward me.

A.N. hey peoples! I'm sorry for the cliffhanger :( but I will probably be updating either Monday or Tuesday! :) like I said, I will be cutting this story short because of all sorts of problems and I feel like it's been too weak. But I will be making a new Fanfiction called Change or something like that for you guys! Follow me and it will be easier to find! I will assure you it will be much better! :P.
