"perv caught me in the shower.... How much do you think he saw? " Tora grumbled as Mika, Raizo and Brooks now stood around in the living room.
"you're slow - so - everything " Raizo spoke dryly. "more importantly, be more concerned about the fact that the clans are siding with Saldana ." he added.
Tora went to rage when Brooks cut in. "you're kidding, ninjas haven't been around for thousands of years. " he said.
"is what I said... At least before tonight. " Tora said crossing her arms slouching into her seat. Raizo watched her carefully, withdrawing into herself.
"Saldana might be out, but we'll be okay Tora. I just need you to work with me. Me, you and Raizo are all in the same team now. " said Mika.
"so this is your informant? " Brooks asked casting Raizo a skeptical glance. Raizo didn't bother answering. "and he used to be a ninja? " Brooks asked slowly.
"I still am there's no used to be. "
Brooks looked over Raizo again and sighed shaking his head. "well, try and rest up for the night, long road ahead of us - might want to consider a hotel though.... " he said.
Raizo turned on his heel and headed up the stairs to retrieve his things "it won't matter where we go, Natsumi's found a new favorite..." Raizo's voice faded up the stairs. Leaving the others to share worried and troubled glances.
"we're dead dogs" Tora groaned.
Arriving at the hotel Tora's eyes darted every way possible. Looking to make sure the shadows weren't moving.
"this is stupid - we should have got a basic room and crammed in there, the top suite is more than obvious " Tora mumbled as she watched the numbers light up on the elevator.
Brooks and Raizo stood in front of the girls bogged down with luggage.
"I agree, it makes us easy to find" Raizo said.
"don't worry, being high up buys us time, the front desk will notify me of any suspicious characters coming in. And the suite gives us room for equipment" said Brooks.
"you're an idiot if you think Saldana's men can't get passed that sad little security guard at the front desk" Tora said with a bitter chuckle.
"hey" Mika scolded.
"well it's true! And nat-sushi whatever probably won't even use the front door!" Tora shouted.
Raizo smirked.
"you yelling isn't helping our cover any either, I know you are scared but you need to calm down " Mika said calmly but she was clearly not happy.
Tora glared at her sister hard. "I'm not scared" she growled slowly.
"you lied, you said he'd never get out"
Mika fell silent.
Tora shook her head and leaned on the wall "fucking ninjas.... And useless goddamned cops- Aaah! H-hey! " Tora's mutterings were cut short as Raizo caught her by the ear tip, pinching it.
