Chapter 1

I woke up to the sound of my dad pounding on my door. I seriously wake up to this sound every single morning. I groaned, and flicked on my iphone to check the time.

7:30

"Get up Bella! Make me breakfast!" This is how every single one of my mornings started off as. My dad would kick ME out of bed to make his own breakfast. Stupid right?

"I'm coming" I yanked off the sheets and hung my legs over my bed. I unlocked my phone and seen a whole bunch of random people liking my Instagram photos. The same as usual. I threw my hair up in a bun and made my way downstairs. I pulled out some eggs and started cooking them on the pan. This is not a life a twenty-year old should be living. I should be at college, or university right now but of course we were almost completely broke. It made me sad just thinking about it, but I put my attention else where, and that thought at the back of my head.

I placed the two slices of toast in the toaster, and just finished up with the eggs before placing all on the plate. I poured some juice into the cup, and set the plate and glass on the table.

I could only think about my past, and how things would be if my mom didn't leave us. Five years ago she left us because of my dad and how he was acting. He started drinking more and more, soon becoming an alcoholic. He got into weird addictions. Like, gambling. That's his worse one right now, and I have a feeling he is going to loose his job soon. If he did, that means I'm on my own.

Again, to put that thought behind I looked at the good things in my life.

Three times a week I have soccer, which is probably the only source of positivity in my life. When I play, I forget about everything and I just feel good about myself. I started playing when I was four, and I never stopped since.

My dad came down the stairs, and took a seat at the table. "Good?" I questioned him, picking up the pillows off of the floor. He shrugged. "I've had better. But it's fine" I rolled my eyes and shook my head.

"Well have a good day, bye" It was so hard to talk to my dad, and I hardly did. He waved over his head, and I walked up the stairs pulling out my phone. I had a missed call from Trinity.

My finger traced to the phone app, and I dialed her number, only to hear it ringing.

"Hello!" She beamed on the other end. "Hey, did you call?" I asked, and she took a deep breath. "Yeah, I wanted to tell you that I need to meet you at the field tonight for seven. There's a huge party thing there tonight that I heard about and I want to be there, also-"

I laughed. "Trinity you need to calm down, and stop talking so fast" Trinity laughed. "Okay, you did get that information though, right?" I nodded and replied with yes. We exchanged our goodbyes and I laid back on my bed.

I wonder what kind of party this is.

I was surprised that Trinity was calling at this time of day anyways. Usually she's already at her first class.

I let my thoughts pass by as I pulled out everything I needed for soccer today. Placing my shin pads, and cleats in my bag I zipped it up and got dressed into shorts, and a t-shirt. I brushed out my hair, and did everything else I needed to do before I took my spare house key off my bed, and ran down the stairs. Everyday I was so eager just to go out and kick a soccer ball. I got private training, so it's almost better when you can do stuff without having it being a struggle. I locked up the house, and made my way down the street. It sucked because I had no car, and the field was a good half an hour walk. I plugged in my headphones, and slipped my hood up.

The music blared through my speakers, just as I was about to step onto the street, an arm went across my chest and pulled me back. I looked at the person who did this, at it was Connor. Who I went to school with, and had bad history.

He smirked devilishly, and I shook my head, and started to walk again.

"Bella! Don't leave so quickly!" Connor yelled, and jogged after me. "Connor take a hint that I don't want to talk to you" He chuckled. I tried to ignore him and keep walking, but he grabbed my hand and made me face him. There was no one around, just a few old abandoned houses, luckily.

"Why can't you just stay with me, I could take care of you. I know you would love that" He crept closer, and I had the urge to just slap him. I pushed Connor away from me and ran off towards the soccer field. I looked behind me, and he was finally gone. What the hell happened?

I stopped, and took a minute to catch my breath. I made sure I was in a good surrounding so nothing like that would happen anytime soon.

Connor was one of the people that I hated being around. Back when I was in high-school, he was in a lot of my classes and always bugged me. Connor tried to get me to do stuff with him that I had no intention on even doing. He forced tons of girls to do that with him, but I was his main one. I shook the thought away and walked across the field, where I seen my trainer. I placed my bag down, and sat on the ground as I took off my shoes and got my gear on.

"Bella, took you longer than usual to get here. What happened?" I bit my lip, I didn't want to say anything and I knew I didn't really have to. But my trainer: John, was really close to me. Almost like family.

"Nothing, I just woke up late" I lied, as I slipped on my other sock and put on my cleats. He shook his head, and got a soccer ball out of the bag.

"We're learning something pretty new today" John spoke, as he kicked the ball to me and I chipped it up, juggling it after wards. "I've been very impressed with your kicking, and keeping the ball away from opponents. So we're training you how to do a bicycle kick, and a scissor kick"

I looked at him wide-eyed. I might've had the skills, but it mean these two tricks were very hard to do. I've seen professionals mess up at them.

"I'm not sure John, I-" He cut me off. "I know you can do this, just try" I took a deep breath, and nodded. He smiled. "Good! I brought someone to help us out" I looked at him, and tilted my head in confusion.

John pointed to the car that just pulled into the parking lot a few meters away from us. This person must be high-end seeing they have a gorgeous looking car. I smirked, and crossed my arms, biting the insides of my cheeks. I wonder who this is.
