"Your presence annoys me."
I spotted her immediately as I arrived to school the next day. She didn't even look up from the book she was reading as I made my way to her side. (It was where I belonged dammit.)
"Look, what you saw yesterday was..."
"I don't care." She cut me off. She closed the book and made to place it in her bag. "Goodbye."
Once again she just walked away from me. I stood silently for a while then made up my mind to go after her. I was not giving up without a fight. She was my woman! She was-
"Hi baby!"
The force of the hug made me almost lose my balance. I looked down and... Oh.
"What the hell are you doing?!" I hissed. I could see from the corner of my eyes that people were getting very curious.
She laughed, "Oh sweetheart you're sooo funny!" Her voice rose more and more as she spoke, "That's why I love you."
What?!
Ignoring the looks of interest I grabbed her and dragged her into an empty class. Ironically the very class we were caught.
"What the hell do you think you're doing, Cassidy? Yesterday was a mistake! If you think for one minute I'm going to start something with you after one kiss you better-"
"Yeah, I know!"
What is it with people cutting me off this week?
But as she explained her plan and I sort of got it? I mean, a plan to make her jealous?
"Are you sure about this?"
"Of course I'm sure," she scoffed, "She's insanely in love with you. Seeing me around with you is sure to get her jealous and interested in you again."
"Okay... But what about you?"
She rolled her eyes. "She's naive and extremely forgiving. By next week both of us will be in her good graces."
I don't know why but I was sure a look of disgust passed over her face as she said this. It was so quick I could have imagined it.
Right now, I was desperate. I needed her back. So let's go. Time to make her jealous.
