I know, I'm updating this after a long long time. I recently went through the chapters I had written and felt inspired to complete this short story. Here are the latest updates:
Chapter 1: Displaced, Chapter 2: Transition
• Chapter edited and polished.
• Won't be revisiting the chapter again for editing and stuff. It's final.
Chapter 3: Fitting in (temporary name)
• The chapter has been written.
• Needs to be proofread and will give some passes to edit.

• It has to be proofread and edited.
