*3rd pov*

It was currently night time at Beacon Academy. All the students were in their dorm sleeping. In the ANTL dorm though that's another story. Nate the youngest member on the team was tossing and turning in his bed. He finally sits up straight quickly breathing heavily. He gets out of bed and gets dressed. When he finishes getting dressed he grabs his wallet and leaves. He heads into Vale and wanders to Juniors Club. He gets there and the bouncers let him in. He walks to the counter and sits down and orders some whiskey. "I'm drinking if your buying." A familiar voice said from behind Nate. He turned around to see Aiden standing there. "What are you doing here?" Nate asked him. "I saw you leave the dorm figured something was bothering you so I followed you." He replied to him. "Oh well I'm fine!" Nate said to him. "Here's your whiskey." The bartender said to him. "That cup of whiskey says otherwise." He replied taking a seat next to him. "Get me a beer!" Aiden told the bartender. "Bottle or tap?" The bartender asked. "Hmm just bring me a bottle." Aiden told him. The bartender nodded and left to get his beer. Aiden then looked at Nate. "You want to talk about it?" Aiden asked him. "Not particularly!" Nate said to him. "Come on Nate. I'm yours friend and teammate. I'm not going to judge you."  Aiden told him. "Even if I've killed innocent people?" Nate said to him. "Hmm I'd have to know your side before I make a call on that. And Nate keep in mind I've killed dozens of people as well." Aiden told him. "Do you regret it?" Nate asked him as Aiden's beer was brought to him. "Do I regret what?" Aiden asked as he took a sip from his beer. "Do you regret taking those people's lives?" Nate asked him. Aiden let out a sigh and stared at his beer bottle. "Some I do, some I don't." Aiden told him. "But also keep in mind that most of the people I've killed were either corrupt, maniacal, murderers, or just plain deserved to die." Aiden finished. "Yeah well most the people I've killed weren't any of those." Nate said taking a sip from his whiskey. "Tell you what Nate. Just tell me what you want too. You don't have to tell me everything just what you want too." Aiden told him. Nate let out a sigh and looked at him. He then told him about how he worked for the White Fang and often done execution missions being told that the people he was killing were evil people. When he found out he was being lied to they tried to kill him so he ran from them and just kept running until he found Ozpin. Aiden just sat there and listened to the whole thing. After he finished Aiden looked at him. "You know this reminds me of a saying I like." Aiden said to him making Nate look at him. "What saying?" Nate asked him. "Life is like a game of cards. It doesn't matter what kind of hand your delt only what you do with it." Aiden said to him. "And if you ask me you could've done a lot worse Nate." Aiden said to him making Nate smile a bit. Aiden then noticed it was almost 2 a.m. in the morning. "Alright I think that's enough for one night let's head back to Beacon." Aiden said paying for the drinks. Nate nodded and got up to follow but that's when about 20 to 30 White Fang came through the doors. Then one of them pointed in their direction. "Uh oh they must have seen me come here." Nate said reaching for his weapon only to find that he forgot it back at Beacon. "Oh no I forgot her!" Nate said. "What do you mean you forgot her?" Aiden asked him. "My katana Nightshade." Nate said to him. Aiden let out a sigh. "Here." He said to him handing him his katana. "Nightshade!" Nate said excited. "I saw it on yours desk so I figured I'd bring it along just in case. Glad I did." Aiden told him. "Thanks Aiden." Nate told him. "No problem but if you forget yours weapon again you'll be cleaning the bathroom for two months! Got it?" Aiden told him. "Got it." Nate said to him. The White Fang then attacked them. Nate kept Nightshade in its katana form and went to town on the White Fang. Aiden was slicing through their ranks quite easily thanks to his imperial arm. A White Fang member tried to slash at Nate but he parried it and cut his neck. Then another one pointed his gun at him ready to shoot him only to be stabbed through the back by Aiden. They took out all the White Fang well most of them were killed by Nate. After they finished they headed back to Beacon to get some rest. When they got back they both went to their respective beds. "Hey Aiden." Nate said to him as he climbed into bed. "Yeah Nate?" Aiden asked him as he climbed back into bed and Leone cuddled up to him. "Thanks for listening. It's nice to have someone to talk to every now and then." Nate told him. Aiden just smiled. "No problem. Just remember what Leone said were a family we look out for one another." Aiden said to him. "Right! Good night Dad." Nate said as he laid down. Aiden let out a sigh. "I'll let you off easy this time. Good night." Aiden said to him as he snuggled up with Leone and fell asleep.
