“Hello Dan and Phil Games Leaks,” Phil barely managed to say. I cringed as Phil’s laughter turned to coughs. “Aw, poor Philly,” I said as Dan explained that Phil was sick. Then Dan started talking about catching Kangaskhan. I grinned down at my own Kangaskhan. I was the first to get it.

“...but I was like, hey we’re in Hong Kong, why not go on a Farfetch’d hunt?” I chuckled as Phil began to cough again. “But then someone got sick,” I said messing up Phil’s hair. “Hey!” Phil coughed out. “And a certain couple of people already caught a Farfetch’d,” Dan grumbled. I stuck my tongue out at him as I showed the camera my Farfetch’d. “Eliza and I caught Farfetch’d-” Dan cut Phil off, “Right in the fucking hotel!” You and Phil laughed at Dan’s outburst, though Phil’s laughter ended in a coughing fit.

“So now I’m heading out into the Hong Kong wilderness,” Dan showed the view out the window then turned the camera on me. “Alone. With no one to keep me company. At all. No one to-” I sighed dramatically, cutting Dan off. “I’ll only agree to go with you if we get Phil medicine.” Dan turned the camera to him, then to me, then to him. “Fine, if we have to.” Phil managed a “yay” before dissolving into yet another coughing fit.

“Dan, you nerd!” I giggled as Dan showed off his pokemon. “You’re just jealous, Eliza!” Dan countered loudly, causing a few people to turn and stare. “No I just don’t want to spend money on an app that everyone is going to get bored of in a few months,” I explained quietly.

We made our way the Signal Hill Park. As we hadn’t seemed to meet up with anyone who has known us, and Dan wasn’t actually filming us much, Dan thought it’d be fine to act a bit couply as he interlocked our hands together. It was nice to be able to act like a couple in public, but I did feel bad about Phil not being here.

“Ew, Dan you’re already sweaty,” I complained letting go of his clammy hand. It was quite lucky actually as someone recognized Dan a minute later.

Signal Hill Park really lived up to its name. “So much sacrifice to catch a fucking pokemon! Oh my god what are we doing!” Dan complained from behind me. “I swear Dan if you are filming my ass I will file a lawsuit,” I breathed out, huffing slightly. “To be fair, it’s a nice ass,” Dan muttered after he turned off the camera. Dan suddenly paused halfway up another set of stairs. “Look at these ants.” I turned to see Dan filming ants. “Why are you in a rush? Where are you going? What is life about? Does your queen care about you as much as you care about her?” I rolled my eyes, “Dan are you getting an existential crisis from watching ants?” Dan pursed his lips, “Maybe.” We laughed continuing up the stairs.

Dan still hadn’t caught a Farfetch’d after going to two parks. “Dan, we need to get Phil his medicine,” I explained after we had run into another fan. We decided to be more careful after running into the first. “Fine let’s go buy drugs for Phil.

The drug store was incredibly, let’s call it, interesting. It took some convincing but Dan eventually bought the normalest medicine we could find.

Then we went to yet another park that was actually more of an aviary. I took about a million bird selfies. “Eliza, these are not the birds we’re looking for,” Dan complained as I took a flamingo selfie. “These aren’t the birds you’re looking for, Dan.” Dan rolled his eyes and we continued onwards.

“I think it was a mistake that Phil joined Mystic, he’s definitely more of an Instinct kind of guy,” Dan said. “Yeah, the team we should have joined.” I had wanted to join Instinct but Dan convinced me to join Mystic. “I said I’m sorry like a million times already,” Dan laughed as I pouted. “This is why god won’t give you a Farfetch’d,” I theorized. “I thought it had something to do with me burning a bible.”

Dan didn’t get a Farfetch’d, but Dan was tired, sweaty, and hobbit-like, so we headed back to the hotel. On the bright side, Phil was dressed and feeling a little better. Phil took his “Broncchio” which will hopefully have him feeling even better.

“... and cultural experience. What a waste of time!” Dan complained  after listing everything we did today. “Want to share my Farfetch’d? You can have custody of it on weekends,” Phil tried to comfort Dan. We finished the video.

“So how did you like Hong Kong, Eliza?” Phil asked, feeling better. “It was fun, look at all my pictures.” I then spent the rest of the day showing Phil the pictures as he wrapped his arms around me and leaned his chin on my shoulder.
