I don't think anyone noticed Harry had stopped wearing his glasses. Not that it was even possible, considering his face was hardly ever seen in school. I walked into class, immediately noticing the black hoodie covering the boy's head as he looked down concentratedly at his table.
I smiled, memories of yesterday crashing back in my mind. I couldn't help the grin that spread across my face, tapping Harry lightly. His eyes raised to mine unsurely, and he let out a sigh at the sight of me.
"Amelia,"
"Correct, that's me." I grinned.
"Someone's happy." He snorted, looking around to inspect the empty class.
"Well, I had the privilege of spending my weekend with Harry Styles, so you know." Harry blushed at that, biting his lip and looking away from me. The door opened and Harry pushed his chair away from me, making me frown lightly.
"Harry?"
"Hm?" He responded, barely looking at me from the corner of his eye. I rolled my eyes.
"What's so bad about being seen with me?" I asked, trying not to sound as pathetic as I felt. Heck, people would die to flaunt me and show me off to their friends, yet here Harry was.
I doubt I did a good job at hiding how this was actually making me feel because when Harry turned back to me, his brows were furrowed in concern.
His mouth opened, and then closed again with a lack of words. "I'm sorry," He sighed,"I don't know. I guess I'm just not so accustomed to having you around, especially in public. I- I mean people will s-start to talk and then you'll notice what an actual piece of shit I am and just stop talking to me." Harry's eyes were wide when he finished, same goes for me.
"What? No," I paused,"No, no, no, Harry. That wouldn't even be possible, what?"
He huffed quietly, shaking his head and dismissing the topic. But a smile pulled at my lips when Harry pushed his chair closer to mine, just as the bell went and the class filled with people.
"So when's tutoring?" I smiled as I turned fully to Harry, turning to Bianca when she tapped me as she passed by. She winked, not so subtly, making Harry blush and I subconsciously rolled my eyes at her stupidity.
"Tuesdays and Thursdays?" Harry asked quietly.
"It's Tuesday, you know?"
"That sounds p-perfect," Harry whispered, smiling when I linked our hands underneath the desk. I waited for our teacher to walk in, wondering what Harry's reaction would be. But, when the door opened, Harry only blushed and tightened his grip, making me smile much harder than I usually did.
Lessons began. Then, about twenty minutes into the period, Ross barged in. He smirked at the sight of Harry, sending a wink our way. I felt Harry's shiver through his fingers, and I squeezed them in reassurance.
"You know, I kinda wish you were dead." He breathed when he neared us,"Looks like I didn't do that much of a good job. Maybe next time, I could use some help."
My brows furrowed at his words. Next time? There was going to be a next time? My heart pounded through my ears. What? No, no, no. Harry just needed to teach this boy a lesson. That was all I wanted from him.
"Well, you go get some help, Ross." Harry stated quietly, but his voice was remarkably strong and steady. And, confident?
Ross chuckled, entering a staring competition with Harry, though on his part, it was more of a glaring competition.
