Mystery Boy Part 2

Chapter 8

I go through my days fast not really talking to anyone but Betty. I see Jughead and his new girl but brush it off most of the time . I only have a small group of friends . Betty , V , Kev and Reggie. Betty and I visit V almost every weekend . We catch her up on all the gossip . 

This weekend is homecoming and Betty signed us both up for helping out . She said it would get our minds off everything . 

"Okay Betty , Ganessa and Olivia work on the lights and everything " a staff member says . 

Olivia is Jughead's girlfriend . 

Betty mouths the words "I'm sorry ". I nod and answer back . "It's fine ". Olivia goes and gets us lights . Betty and I start setting up the the lights we have . 

A few minutes later Olivia comes back with Jughead and he's holding a box of lights . 

"Hand them to her ", Olivia says pointing to me . "Um Ganessa ", he says . I turn and take the box out of his hands . "Thanks ", I say . Olivia kisses his cheek . 

I set up some light on the stage and Jughead is helping . "BETTY ", I scream her name . "WHAT ", she says . "Can you hold my ladder ", I ask . "I can't I'm setting up the lights on the other side . I look at her on top of a ladder holding up lights. We both start laughing . "Um where's Olivia ", I say . I look around and see her in the corner with someone it's Chuck . They both are laughing as he kisses her neck . Shit . "Jughead ", I say . He looks up at me .I quickly look over at Olivia then back at him . "Can you hold my ladder please ", I ask . He nods .He comes over and holds my ladder . 

After I'm done . Olivia comes over . I climb down and Jughead helps me down . "Thanks ", I say wiping my pants down . "Awe Juggy , you're so sweet "she says and kisses his lips .He pulls away looking at me . I look down and walk over to Betty .
