Mystery Boy Part 2

Chapter 4

Today we go back to school . And I keep thinking positive about the Jughead situation . 

I get dressed and head downstairs . I walk out the door and head to Betty's . She opens the door and we both start walking to school . "Archie and Jughead are at school so is V ", Betty says and I nod .

I tell her everything that I'm feeling about Jughead . "It's going to be okay , he still loves you even if he has changed ", she says . That's true and I feel a bit better . 

We walk in and look for the rest of the gang . We see V sitting on a bench with Kevin . But we don't see Archie nor Jughead . 

I hug V and then Kevin . "Senior year how you feel ", Kevin says . I close my eyes and shake my head . Kevin laughs . "Its going to go by fast ", he says . I nod . "I know thats why I want it to go by fast and have  a good year ", I say . Kevin nods . 

"V you ok ", I ask . She nods . "Just Archie , he's been MIA on our dates and stuff", she says . I look at her confused . "He said you two broke up ", Betty says . "Yeah that's what he said ", I add . 

V looks pissed . "No we didn't break up ", she says mad . Betty and I look at eachother . 

The bell rings and we head to our classes . I have mostly all my classes with Betty . 

We sit next to eachother in English . "Dude didn't Archie say they broke up "Betty says . I nod . "Yeah he did , but why would he say they broke up ", I say . She shrugs .

It's lunch time and V and Archie are arguing . I look around and see Jughead with the football players . Betty comes with me to get Jughead because I havent seen in a long time . 

"Hey baby ", I say to Jughead but he doesnt turn around . I tap his shoulder . "Jughead ", I say .He turns around . "Hey Ganessa , meet some of my new friends .", he says . I shake hands with some of the guys I don't know . "Hi Reggie ", I say shaking his hand. "I'm sorry ma'm I don't know you , but nice to meet you Ganessa ", he says jokingly . I smile and let go of his hand. 

"You gonna come with us ", I ask . "No ", he says . "Talk later ",he adds . and starts talking to the guys again . I turn on my heel and head to the table . Archie isn't there and V is crying . 

"V what happened ",I say . "Archie and I broke up , he was talking to someone else he said he was and didn't want to hurt my feelings , but hiding it was the worst decision he made ", she says . I hug her . "I'm sorry", I say . "No thank you for telling me ", she says . Betty looks at me . "This is going to be a tough year ", she says sitting down . I sit down with her and nod . "Yeah I know ", I say .
