A/N --Hey!

So I’d just like to say, this story is quite different than my other fanfic. Didn’t really know I was going to write another but I kinda got bored of it. Guess I’m too much like Brys :p Short attention span. You did not need to read my other story to understand this one, they are completely different. Also, if my spelling is off I don’t mean it to be. I’m not American so usually I spell things like mom as mum. And like words such as colour or favourite might have extra letters than what you guys are used to so Im sorry if it bugs you but I cant help it! Also my story is Copy Righted ©

Chapter One

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP

My alarm sirened, signaling I had to get up for school. Was it 7am already?! That meant I had what, 3 hours of sleep. My head ached, bad fucking idea to be drinking on a school night. Still it was funny as! Bella was off her face, so was I though. I flicked into the Facebook app on my iPhone scrolling through some horrible pictures of my friends and myself. I scrolled through the photos, one caught my eye in particular. It was of my best friend Bells, in her purple dress, lying on the floor by the toilet, Cody holding her hair and looking concerned. They should just go out already! I’ll be tracking him down at school today.

“ABBY GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE NOW!” My mothers voice screeched. She knew. I was busted. I had already blown my whole ‘second chance’ thing. I was up to my, what was it, 234th chance by now? I guess you could call her and dad ‘push overs’ I mean, they try their best to tame me. But no one bloody can. I’m wild baby! Get used to it, or get lost. I hoped I hadn’t pushed it too far this time, I mean last time, I was this close to being sent to live with my Aunt in God knows what land. It wasn’t here in Australia that’s for sure! And any other country than Australia, wouldn’t be up to my standards. I mean, I heard NZ is pretty similar but it would NOT be the same. Australia is mine, I ruled the roost. “ABIGAIL!” My mother screeched making me wince. God I’m thankful I keep panadol on my bedside table. Mind you I had to, this was an all to regular occurrence. I pulled my school uniform over my head, it consisted of a white shirt with the school crest, a navy jersy and a matching skort. I whipped on my skort. Its half skirt, half shorts for those of you who have been living under a rock. Mind you, I don’t blame you for not knowing. These are the most hideous uniforms I have had to wear in my life, I’d rather not know what at skort was if I were you! I slung my designer school bag over my shoulder and headed down the stairs. “Sit.” She ordered in what she would have thought was her ‘angry tone.’

“Pfft Mum, you can do better than that.” I said, sliding onto the wooden chair at the table.

“Abby please, your Father and I have tried our very best to raise you to be a respectable young woman and all you’ve done is behave like a complete stuck up, snobby brat!” She spat, I must admit, these parenting classes she was taking were giving her too many ideas. I actually had to google ‘how to get out of your punishment’ last time she grounded me. And she had taken down my bedroom door! I mean come on!

“Your Mother is right Abigail.” Daddy dearest spoke.

“Oh for fucks sake, just tell me what my punishment is this time then!” I said, glaring at them. The use of my full name did not go unnoticed and earned them an extra eye roll from my behalf.

“Don’t swear! And what did we say about you going out on a school night? We had no clue where you were! Abigail do you know how stressful it is for a parent to not know where their self focused, obnoxious, stupid, naïve….”

“So many compliments in one sentence, I just can’t keep up!” I rolled my eyes.

“You’re missing the point!” He screeched. “What part of ‘you’re grounded’ do you not understand?”

“Um, well the whole ‘grounded’ part.” I replied, glaring at them.

“You cannot go sneaking out of the house to go partying let alone on a school night! Abigail why are you so self centered lately! I mean I get you’re a hormonal teen, but this, this is not normal.” My mother added, in a soft tone.

This was how it went every time. Mum would call me down, Dad would have his little rant, Mum would softly say how I couldn’t go on like this, and this was ’her last straw,’ next it would be followed by Dad dishing out the consequences which I would never pay attention to, I would moan about the use of my full name and well, we were back to the start. Around this long dining table, flowers set in the middle, table cloth hanging off the edges. Although I never knew why the flowers would sit there, Char, George and I would always eat in our little rumpus room. It seemed I was the only one ever getting into trouble, the problem middle child. I think I just distracted the parents enough so that the other two would get away with doing whatever. George was 19, me 17 and Char was pulling up the rear being only 15. We all got along pretty well, when we saw each other.

“Get upstairs then!” Dad grumbled, as he slid his glasses back on his nose. He continued reading the crinkling newspaper, lifting his straight black coffee to his lips.

“What? I’ve got school.” I said, dumbstruck as to why they would be rewarding me with a day off school. I mean, that would be the best. Do bad and then get to sleep all day.

“Go pack.” My Mother said, crossing her arms and slightly sniffing. She readjusted her pearl necklace around her neck. I hope she adjusts it too tight!

“Pack for what?” I asked, my eyes narrowing. Were we going on holiday? Oooh I hope it was to Hawaii, I mean the have the ca-utest boys evs! And surfing, I was already good at that, that’s what happened when you lived in Australia though.

“Really Abby? Did you not just hear a word we just said?”

“I tend to tune out when people are ranting about my ‘behavioral issues.’” I smirked.

“Pack your bags, you’re going to boarding school.”
