I heard a guitar strumming but I didn't look up."Waking up to kiss you and nobody's there, the smell of your perfume still stuck in the air" then I heard a guy singing. His voice was sweet but strong. I didn't look up.
I was too busy writing. I was too involved. I couldn't stop writing. I wasn't complaining.
My coffee got cold, but I gulped it down real fast hoping it'll give me more energy.
"And I wanna tell you everything, the words I never got to say the first time around" the way he sang that lyric really made me look up to see who it was.
I didn't know what I was expecting to see but it wasn't this. His hair was long and blonde, his eyes were blue filled with passion. I looked around and the audience was captured by his voice and I wondered why I was in my own little world.
I'm not going to be cheesy and say, the whole world stopped as I saw him. I couldn't breathe as he sang with passion.
Nope.
But you could tell he has passion. You could tell this was something that kept him going in life, like that's the only thing he ever wants to do in life.
Just like how I am with my poetry and dance.
