Wonwoo closed his book on page 102 and decided to go onto the next book.
He needed more books, and better endings to the books he was reading, so he got packed to go to the library.
He spent time picking out books, some long, some short, and some with sequels that he most likely wouldn't read.
The atmosphere of his towns library was his favorite thing. He usually sat and read for hours until closing time since he had nothing else to do.
It was the beginning of summer, meaning junior year of high school had just ended for Wonwoo and soon enough senior year would pass by the same way. But instead of thinking about school, he thought about his books.
His second favorite thing was the build up, the middle of the book was always the best part. It was the part where conflict and climax happened.
When he read those, a rush would go through him like a big wave on the ocean had just splashed him, but as exciting and scary as it sounded, when the wave ended it was suddenly boring. Uninteresting, just like the ending of books, he hated resolutions.
He read every day at the library, but never noticed the boy that would sit and watch him read.
Until that day.
