Chapter 1: New Year

               ~(Kai's POV)~

I can't believe it....I'm a senior!! I can't wait to finally finish High School!! I parked my car in the crowded school parking lot. It's a new year and new me!! I walked slowly up the sidewalk until I seen my friend Ariel.

"Ariel! Hey!" I yelled excitedly.

"Hey Kai! It's great to see you!" she said smiling perfectly. She hasn't really changed since last year. She's still pretty as always.

"You to Little Mermaid!" I said. I always use to call her "Little Mermaid" because of her name.

" You glad its our last year?" she asked walking alongside me.

"Yes! How about you?" I asked.

"Nah,not really. Sure am gonna miss this place next year." she replied.

"I'm gonna miss it too." I said.

We walked into the school and went our seperate ways.

Ariel and I aren't as close as we use to be. We use to be inseperable. Nothing could come between us. But when she started dating Ji Yong, she couldn't hang out with me much. Ji Yong is a jerk. He's the type of guy that won't let anyone talk to his girlfriend. He's a football player an has everything handed to him whenever he wants it. But on the other hand Ariel is a bookworm and gets good grades. Usually football players date cheerleaders but I guess he just has a thing for smart girls. Or he just thinks she's gorgeous like the other 98% of the school. She truly is gorgeous.

              ~(Ariel's POV)~

"Hey baby!"Ji Yong said when he seen me. It has been at least a week since we seen each other.

"Hey sweetheart." I replied pecking him on the lips and grabbing his hand.

He truly was the perfect guy for me. Sure we have our ups and downs but we always make up.

"Hey Ji Yong,did you see that girl that was at your party last night?" one of his jerk friends asked.

"Dude,no,shut up" he said lowly to him.

" You had a party last night?" I asked angrily.

"Yeah, just a little small get together with the guys. " he replied,but I knew he was lying.
