Produce Project #101

The Project

There is blood and death in this chapter!! If you are not comfortable with blood or death, I suggest that you do not read this chapter. At the very end of this chapter, I will summarize important events in an author's note for those who could not read the chapter.

A scream was heard.

"Daehwi was that you?!" Park Woojin yelled as he searched around for his friend and label mate in the dark.

Daehwi fell to the ground when he suddenly felt an excruciating sharp pain in his back. "H........Help me" he begged, breathing heavily as he collapsed onto his stomach. He tried to crawl away from the pain, but it was as if his body was doing this to itself. He flipped onto his back and looked for a culprit, but couldn't see anything in the darkness.

"Lee Daewhi!", "hyung!", the other trainees called out to the blonde, but he couldn't process any of it. He turned back onto his stomach, gasping for air, and the pain suddenly ceased.

"What...... What happened..." he asked, panting as he unsteadily attempted to stand. "Lee Daehwi, are you alright?" Kim Samuel from Brave Entertainment asked the trainee. "It was as if my body was ripping itself apart..." Daehwi answered.

Samuel walked closer to him in the darkness, and hit something that felt unfamiliar. "What is this?" He asked rubbing the soft object with his hands. "Ow" Daehwi responded at the touch. "I don't know but it hurts when you do that." He winced.

A soft white glow slowly began to radiate from the object, revealing feathered wings and blood on the trainee's back. "Daehwi" Samuel said gasping. He slowly backed away from the older trainee, stepping in more blood.

Everyone looked down at the ground around Daehwi, while Daehwi himself turned his head, screeching in fear when he saw his body. "My.... What is...." the male stuttered, attempting to speak. Tears rolled down his cheeks. The other trainees watched in fear as blood dripped from his back, and a new creature was created out of the once normal looking human. Before anyone could respond to what had happened, another cry for help was shot throughout the room.

"Minki!" Kang Dongho yelled and followed his friend's voice, but he also dropped down in pain. Eventually, many of the trainees were on the ground screaming and begging for the help of their friends.

Park Woojin couldn't stop staring at the rest of the trainees, fearing what they were becoming. "Come with me!" He said grabbing onto anyone who was still standing. He didn't want this to happen to him. He wasn't going to be stupid and stand there, watching this happen, waiting for it to happen to him too.

"Woojin..." Daehwi said, begging for his friend to stay. The red head hesitated for a moment. No. "I can't." He said and ran out of the auditorium, escaping the mess with as many unharmed trainees as he could.

The remaining boys stood, fearing their own bodies, and fearing each other. Each trainee had a different set of wings that noticeably bursted out of their backs.

Everything went perfectly!" BoA exclaimed, her voice booming throughout the room. "Welcome to Produce Project number 101! The one hundred and first, and only successful creature project of mine!" She explained proudly.

The lights turned on and a room full of blood and feathers was revealed. BoA walked out onto the previously clean, black floor that was now covered in the blood of young trainees and smiled at her experiments. "You all turned out beautifully.." she said, taking the time to admire every new creature.

"Now. Some house rules must be made." She began casually. "Firstly, there will be no fighting until I say so. Don't worry, there will be a time when you will be forced to fight for survival, but that is not now. Second! There is no leaving until I say so. Third! Th-" As she was about to lay down the third rule, a small voice was heard from somewhere in the room.

"Why did you do this to us?" Lee Woojin asked BoA, wiping his tears. BoA laughed in response. "The third rule is no questions, and no interruptions!" She continued. "If any of these rules are broken..." BoA nodded at Lee Woojin and a knife went flying into his back, causing him to fall forward and lay on the ground completely motionless. "You will have the same fate as him." BoA finished with a deep smirk and walked off of the stage.

So in this chapter:
-Daehwi was the first to transform into one of BoA's creature creations. Soon after that, many of the trainees also transformed while many escaped with Park Woojin's help
-The transformation includes feathered wings on the trainees' backs.
-BoA explained that this is Produce Project number 101, her one hundred and first creature experiment. This is also the first one that has worked.
-BoA created some rules that were: No fighting, no leaving, and no questions or interruptions.
-Lee Woojin was killed by BoA.
