"Woojin, I think we're far enough." Bae Jinyoung said as he panted. The rest of the trainees that hadn't been changed were currently running in the woods, trying to escape the horror that was occurring back at the auditorium.

"We can't stop. They will come back to get us. We can't trust those monsters anymore." Park Woojin said, leading the group of trainees through the dark and wet maze of trees.

Before leaving the auditorium, Woojin managed at collect the trainees who hadn't gained wings yet and escape with them. If he couldn't save Daehwi, he wanted to do what Daehwi would've done.

"Woojin is right. We can't stop here, they might come out to find us." Kwon Hyunbin nodded while patting Jinyoung's back. "But they're trainees... people... just like us!" The younger argued.

"They're not people anymore." Woojin began.

"They're monsters"

Hyunbin shook his head after seeing that Jinyoung still didn't understand, and walked faster to catch up with Woojin instead.

"They are the same people they always were.... you'll see.." Jinyoung mumbled as he slowly shuffled behind the others. It had eventually begun to rain again, but that didn't stop the group of boys. They trailed on until they finally reached the city, attracting the attention of others.

"Look, there they are"

"How did they escape?"

"Are they monsters too?"

"Don't make eye contact"

People whispered, but even just their mean looks stung the trainees.

Jinyoung lightly jogged to the front of the pack. "Woojin, where are we going?" He knew that their goal was to make it to the city, but as to where they would go after that, he had no idea.

"We are going to the police. We can't have them escape that building." Woojin explained, continuing to angrily march deeper into the city. "Police? But won't they hurt the turned trainees?" Jinyoung asked. He knew how the South Korean system worked these days, just as well as everyone else. They were aggressive. "We know more information than anyone else in the world. We experienced it first hand. We have to tell the police everything we can so we can protect the citizens." Woojin looked serious and determined. This is exactly what Jinyoung feared the most. Is Woojin looking at all of this in a different way than Jinyoung?

"What will you tell them? The police, I mean." Jinyoung asked. His voice was wavering a bit. He didn't want his friends to be put into any more danger than they were already in. "We'll tell the police the truth. That the trainees transformed into aggressive creatures that can't be trusted. They will most likely become a threat to South Korea if we don't do something about them." Hyunbin said, suddenly appearing behind Jinyoung.

Truth?

What was the truth in any of that?

"How do you know they're aggressive? They never showed any signs of being a threat!" Jinyoung rebutted. This was getting out of control. BoA was the one they needed to report. Not the trainees that were still stuck in the auditorium.

Yoon Jisung slowly made his way to the front of the clump. "Woojin, don't you think you're going too far?" He muttered. Although he was the oldest at the age of 27, Jisung never felt comfortable speaking up.

Woojin suddenly stopped, the rest of the trainees trying to catch a glimpse of the front of the crowd in confusion. "What is 'too far' out of all of this. How you seen them? They have wings. They're covered in blood. Doesn't that ring a bell that says 'MONSTERS' in big red letters?" Woojin scoffed. "Hyunbin, take them to the alleyway across from the shopping centre near BNM building. We'll all stay there for now." He instructed.

Hyunbin nodded and immediately led the group of trainees in the opposite direction. After watching the trainees leave, Woojin made his way to the police station.

"Hyunbin, do you think he will-" Jinyoung began, but was interrupted when Hyunbin lifted his hand and spoke. "Jisung, take Jinyoung to the back of the group. He's annoying." He said, glaring down at the younger.

"Sorry.." Jisung whispered, and escorted Jinyoung to the very back of the clump, behind all of the other trainees.

After 20 or so more minutes of walking, the group arrived at the ally. The trainees talked and shared stories to console each other. They ate, drank, set up their resting spots, and went to sleep.

Nightfall came.
