Excuse any errors...
Erica's Point Of View|
I was so relieved when Cyn didn't show up last night. It would've been the most awkwardest dinner ever.
She did text, asking if we could meet to talk about what happened the other night and I agreed, so now I'm on the way to my house. Cyn should be here in about thirty minutes if she's does come at the time we agreed on.
"Erica!?"
As soon as I step foot in the door, I hear my best friend, Robyn.
"Yes, Riri?"
"Ello mate." She smiles, pecking my cheek.
"You are so special... Why are you in my house?"
"I came to see ya yesterday, but you weren't here. Soooo then I text you over a million times, which I know you saw, plus I called over a billion and I'm just wondering why the fuck you ignoring me, bitch?!"
"I wasn't ignoring you, Pooh. I got caught up last night."
"Oooh, mhmm. I see na. You was getting dat grown man dick, ho! He was laying it down, waan' ne'?"
"Robyn, stooooop! You're so embarrassing."
"Am not. You can't lie to me though, girl. I know you oooh too well."
"I have company in a few, so I'm getting in the shower. If she comes before I'm out, let her in and don't get all weird like you always do."
"You know, I should be offended, but I'll let that slide."
"I love you, Pooh." I smirk, walking further up the stairs.
"I love you too, mamas. Waaait!"
"Yeees?"
She's so aggy.
"Is this 'she' you speak of--"
"Bye, Robyn."
"But you didn't even let me finish!"
"I can't hear you!" I tune her out, reaching the end of the hall to the left.
I started running the shower water right away and stripped from my clothes previously worn.
"Ericaaaaaa!"
"Bitch stop fucking calling me, damn!"
This girl I swear she makes me lose my voice. Had we not been together since preschool, I woulda been sent her far the fuck away on a ship.
After showering, I wrap up in a towel and brush my teeth again before moisturizing and getting dressed.
"Cyn's here, mamas!" Robyn yells up the stairs.
I check the time; 1:08 pm. I been in the shower for over a hour and didn't even realize it. Cyn sat in the recliner chair and I approach the both of them.
"You didn't tell me it was Cyn." Robyn rolls her eyes.
"I didn't know I had to."
"I cannot stand you."
"That's why your sitting down, Pooh."
"I'm leaving. Fuck you. Bye, Cyn."
"Bye, Rihanna." She giggles and I sit on the opposite side of the room on the sofa.
"Wassup?" I spoke up, acknowledging she wasn't going to say anything.
"E, you know what happened the other night was all a mistake, right?"
I didn't want to, but I agreed anyways.
"Yeah... Why?"
"Good. I didn't want you thinking that that meant we could start something... Yanno?"
"Of course. I get it, we make love straight out of the blue and it was all an accident. Makes perfect sense."
"Erica, I didn't know we'd get that far." She says, getting louder.
"And you didn't try not once to stop what we were doing either. Don't try to put this all on me since you lost you girls trust..."
"I'm not trying to! I just- I'm just so confused right now." She sighs.
"Confused about what?"
"What we have. Yeah we joke around a lot, we've grown so close over the years since I met you and I thought we were onto something. Then, something happened and just like that you're with my father."
"You're saying you want me?"
"I wanted you, yeah. Now, there's no hope because we both have our own situations. You were saying all the right things the other night and I got so caught up, I didn't wanna stop. You always seem to get under my skin!" She mutters, frustratedly.
"I can say the same about you.. It's our chemistry, Cyn. I can't help that, but we have to control our actions around each other's. You're an amazing friend and I'm not going to let this fuck up our friendship."
"I don't wanna fuck it up either, but now I'm in too deep. I'm really falling for you, E."
Is she serious?
She just doesn't know I want her just as much and I'm falling too.
We just can't leave our relationships so quickly. It'll only lead to a bigger problem, plus messiness.
"You're joking, right?"
"Does it look like I'm joking? I don't have time to play games." She says, smartly.
That mouth gets to me. She's so dominant.
"I don't know what you want me to do. Like you said, we both have our own situations."
"But- but I don't wanna stop what we have."
"Neither do I."
She gets up and walks to where I sat, talking a spot on my lap.
"Really?"
"Really. I just don't wanna be so greedy trying to juggle two people I love, dearly." I rub the small of her back and she grins.
"Well, we can keep this between me and you."
Her bottom lip soon became trapped between her teeth and I rest my thumb on her chin, popping it back out.
"It won't be that easy." I mumbled.
"It'll be worth it. Okay, mami?"
I nod and she smiles briefly before gripping my face to bring me in for a kiss.
I close my eyes, taking in her delightful scent and the texture of her lips puzzled with mines perfectly.
We both are getting ourselves into hell, but at least we're in this together.
