A Sprinkle Of Magic

Chapter 2

Everywhere I go...the only thing that comes to my mind is... what is that place?

There is a part of me that keeps on searching for the comfort and beauty of that place. That place that I never imagined that has ever existed.

The place that I want to call 'home'.

"Urghh, What the hell?" I said while rolling out of bed.

My head hurts like hell!! And the worst part of it is that I don't have a freaking idea why!! I stood up and made my way to the bathroom. The moment the cold water touched my skin I felt relaxed and the thoughts I had last night came rushing back to me. There was only one way to find out what that place was....

Through research.

I ran down stairs and there revealed my Aunt who is suspiciously looking at me and a guy that is around my age. I don't know him and I don't know why he is here, in 'MY' house talking to 'MY' Aunt. But for the moment I don't care about him.

I need to know everything and stat.

"I'm going out, call me when you need me" I yelled while going out of the house.

I stretched my arms before I continued to my car. When I started the engine I quickly turned on the radio and dang I love the song that was playing right now,

It was Misery Business by Paramore.

What? You could never judge a person by his/her appearance right? And besides that song is sooo good!

When the song ended I have already parked my car on the parking lot of the public library. Ok so the distance of the public library was 2-3 mins. away from my house but I was too lazy to walk so I drove here and you would never know whenever you could use it or not right?

I quickly run inside the library and there revealed a mountain of books. I sighed.

"Well this is going to be a really loooong day". And with that I began my research.

"WHY CANT I FIND A SINGLE THING ABOUT THAT DAMN PLACE!" I yelled and just remembered that I was in the library so everyone looked my way and the librarian gave me a dirty look before shushing me . I buried my face unto my palm because of embarrassment .

I sighed and looked at my watch. My eyes almost bulged out when I saw the time, It was already 5pm and I came here at 10 in the morning ! It took me 7 hours looking for nothing! And I haven't ate a thing!

I quickly stood up and made my way to my car . When I parked my car I quickly jumped out and head to the door .

It was lock, Why?

"Aunt Caroline?" Nobody answered.

I knocked and tried again , still nothing.

FANTASTIC!

JUST FANTASTIC!

"ARE YOU THERE AUNT CAROLINE?!" I yelled. Then the door opened with the guy that I don't know leaning at the door frame .

"Chilax What got your panties in a twist?" He smirk .

I rolled my eyes and pushed him aside but he didn't bulged .

"Get out of the way-" But before I finish my sentence he cut me

"Why? by the way Im Chase" He said still smirking at me .

"Because this is my house , now get out! " I said through my gritted teeth.

He just stood there looking at me " Are you deaf? I said get out" I said and he replied me with something really unbelievable

"Why? This is going to be my house to you know?" What does he mean by he will be living here? Then when I was going to say something again aunt Caroline decided to show up.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN HIS GOING TO BE LIVING HERE?! I DON'T EVEN KNOW HIM!" I yelled while walking out of the conversation we were having .

I CANT BELIEVE THIS!

I quickly made my way to my room and decided to lock myself in there.

It has been a total of 8 hours ever since and they have been knocking every 1 hour. It's getting annoying but I'm still not talking to them. I heard a click on the door, meaning they have decided to use the key and unlock my door.

I groan and hid under my comforter . I felt my bed sink " Ruels? (read as Rules) Come on" Chase said pleading . I didn't responded .

"A silent treatment? OH COME ON" He groan . He kept on pleading for the past hour.

Wait what time is it? I peeled my covers and revealed Chase sleeping peacefully on my side. I looked at the clock and its already 2:37 in the morning .

I looked at him again and smiled , Ok I know it's like crazy because I just knew him for just half a day and I was kinda mean and mad at him and now I already feel comfortable with him but that's how I feel so I cant really blame me.

I didn't even noticed that it was raining , I hate rainy days because when there's rain there's thunder and thunders are not my thing. Speaking of it the sound of it boomed and got me surprised . I buried myself into the covers.

I was sobbing and shaking , I m really scared of thunders, It reminds me of a horrible past. I looked at Chase and saw him sleeping in front of me . I moved a bit closer to him and the thunder roared which made me move closer to him and bumped him a lil.

He opened his eyes slowly and looked at me

" What's wrong?" He said

I didn't say anything instead the thunder answered it for me I covered my ears and sobbed more, He looked at me

"Its alright im here" With that I felt two arms snaking in my waist and he pulled me closer.

I buried my face on his chest and sobbed

" Shhhh , it's alright I m here , I wont go don't worry" He said.

"Thank you " I said to him and he just cuddled to me

"No problem , Ruels" and kissed my head. With that I drifted to a dreamless sleep.
