chapter twenty

   Clemente's POV
I stared daggers at Adrian. What was he doing here?. He was a blood thirsty vampire and I didn't want him here.

He said something which I didn't hear and callidora laughed. I only shrugged and looked elsewhere.

When we all finished eating, we all stood up.

"You girls can go, we'll be right behind you" I said looking at Adrian and he nodded at the girls.

When they were out of view, I held Adrian by his collar.

"What are you doing here?" I asked but he only gave me a smirk throwing my hands off and soothed it.

"I just got this yesterday so I font want it to get rough" he said pouting.

"You haven't answered my question" I asked again infuriated.

"Do I need to" he answered.

"Leave the girls alone, don't hurt them" I breathed.

"Of course I won't. Miranda already knows about me and she's fine with it. But you....you are the monster here because you are lying to your poor girlie".

That was it. I punched him.

" don't say I didn't warn you before its too late " he said and laughed before disappearing from view.

Callidoras POV
"That's beautiful" Eva said as Miranda walked out from her walk in closet. Her room was huge with posters of famous models and Angelina jolie. Her mirror was very tall and you can just examine yourself standing in front of it.

Her makeup was another thing. They were lined up in different shades and brands. Lipsticks, deodorants, mascara, eyeliner were kept in the drawers.

"Thank you" Miranda gushed spinning. She was dressed in a pretty black crop top that had awkward written on it and a white high waist jeans and a black Nike. Her hair were in two cornrows.

"Say, Miranda don't you look more attractive these days. Are you working out or are you a vampire" Eva said admiring Miranda's curvy body.

"You need to stop eating too much" Miranda said in a duh tone and grabbing the French toast that Eva was munching.

I giggled before changing into a black top that had watch me on it and a pair of leggings with a sneakers.

Eva changed into a short black gown and leather boots. After we were done, we did our makeup and waited for the boys.

"I can't believe I'm with you Miranda, you used to be so bossy" Eva said not looking up.

"I guess people change" Miranda said.

We heard horning outside and went out to meet the boys.

We entered the car with their eyes oogling at us.

The music was blaring loudly and we were singing our lungs out but I couldn't deny the silence between Clemente and Adrian. Once in a while, they turned and gave each other death glares.

Typical party. I thought at the sight of girls in nothing but a lingerie and dancing like there was no tomorrow. Some were throwing up in the flower vases and I wondered how the owner was going to take care of it.

"Hey" a voice said behind us. It was david. The boy eva has been talking about.

He looked like a nice guy. Hazel eyes, long brown hair and dimples.

"Oh David" she said throwing her hands round him.

I laughed  as she walked away with him.

I turned to see only Clemente beside me.
