Chapter 7
Chapter Status: EDITED
*Malaysia POV*
I was thinking about Oliver, about what had happened yesterday.
I still couldn't figure out what was wrong with him. Maybe I just needed to let him go, you know, wait till he comes back.
I'll just go on with my everyday life, without Oliver. That is going to be hard.
*AT LUNCH*
I sat beside Jamie and his friends and Em sat with Oliver. I don't know what they were talking but Oli didn't seem to thrilled with whatever they were talking about..
I kind of wanted to run over there and see what they were talking about.
I didn't, I just pretended to like whatever Jamie was talking about. I stood up and went to the bathroom, just to get away from Jamie.
*Oliver POV*
Malaysia didn't sit with me at lunch or even say hey. She was trying to avoid me, probably because she wanted me to get over whatever I was upset about. But I wasn't even sure how long that was going to take. She was so blind dating Jamie, yesterday he told me he didn't even like her anymore, he just didn't want to break a pretty girls heart. I almost slapped him, Mal deserved much better.
On the walk home she went home with Jamie instead of coming to my house to get a snack and go to the mall. Jamie was a jerk.
I called Em to tell her what was up, "Hey, can I tell you something, that you will not tell anyone else." I asked.
"Well yes!" She exclaimed.
"Okay, well I like this girl, and her name is," I paused and Emily squealed on the other line, "Malaysia." I blurted out.
"WHAAAAAAAT!!!!!!!" She yelled.
"Yeah and she's dating a fool, who doesn't even like her."
"What? How would you know?" She asked me.
"I'm his best friend and he told me he doesn't like her anymore and the only reason he's not dumping her is because he doesn't want to ruin a pretty girl like her." Emily gasped in shock.
"Oh no! We have to tell her!" Emily yelled.
"Yeah, but I don't want to see her hurt." I sighed.
"Awww, you really like her, eh?" Emily said.
"Yes, a lot." I said back and then hung up.
*Malaysia POV*
Oliver asked me to meet him on the terrace... I wasn't sure why, but I wasn't looking forward to it.
I walked up, and there he was.
"Hey" He said sheepishly.
"What do you want?" I said, with a little sass.
"I just want to warn you, about Jamie." He said. Jamie? What did he have to do with anything?
"Jamie and I will last forever, so keep your nose where it belongs." I said.
"He told me the other day he doesn't even like you anymore, he just doesn't want to hurt a pretty girl, like you." He said, and blushed. He thought I was pretty?
"He wouldn't say such a thing! You're just jealous! Leave! Don't ever talk to me again." I said and started to storm away.
"I don't want to see you get hurt." He said, his words stuck to me like magnets on a refrigerator as I walked away.
