~Chapter Eight~

The sun started to set when Jasper awoke the next night. He got up and got dressed. He sat at his desk and began to work on the gift he has been making for awhile. The gift was for his crush, Suave, a butler.

They could never be. And he knew that. Not like Suave would ever like him back.

Jasper twisted a small price of wire and shut the lid to the music box he made. He sighed sadly and, at the sound of a knock at the door, he hid the music box in his desk drawer and shouted, "Uh, come in!"

Suave walked in, shutting the door behind him. "Mr. Suave! Good evening." Jasper said, his cheeks turning a light pink hue. Suave looked at Jasper with fear in his eyes.

Suave rushed to Jasper. His arms wrapped around Jasper's torso. His teeth clicked against the smaller skeleton's, making Jasper's face grow hot. Jasper melts into the kiss, his arms wrapping around Suave's neck.

Once they pulled away, Suave pulls Jasper closer to him. "Thank the gods you're safe..." Suave mumbles.

Jasper pulls Suave to sit next to him on the bed. Suave pulled Jasper into his lap, his head resting on Jasper's shoulder.

"What happened?" Jasper asked quietly. He felt Suave's arms wrap tighter around him.

"I dreamt you were gone. That Eterna killed you. I... I can't lose you, Jasper. I can't. Because... Because I love you, Jasper. More than I've loved anything in this world. To lose you would be a fate worse than death to me." Suave felt his breath hitch in his chest and a tear roll down his cheek.

He heard a slight choking and realized that Jasper was crying. His prince, the love of his life, was crying.

"I f-feel so selfish!" Jasper choked out through his tears. "I'm so h-happy you love me b-back! But I'm n-not going a-anywhere! I promise, Mr. Suave." Jasper laughed weakly through his tears.

Jasper got up slightly and pulled Suave down so they were laying beside each other on the bed. Jasper covered them both in the blankets. "Just go to sleep." Jasper said, cuddling into Suave's chest. "You need it."

Suave obeyed, drifting into a dreamless sleep.

Jasper felt Suave begin to stir and smiled, kissing Suave's cheek. He then made a trail of kisses down to Suave's exposed neck. He felt Suave shiver at his cold touch.

Vampires had no body heat, so Jasper felt frozen.

Jasper's lips brushed Suave's neck, causing Suave to shiver and moan softly.

Jasper smiled and gently licked Suave's neck, causing Suave to wrap his arms around Jasper and make his neck more visible.

Jasper smiled wider and held Suave closer to him. Jasper then quickly got up and got the music box, handing it to Suave. Suave smiled and opened it, hearing it play a tinkly song. (Song above)

"You made this? It's beautiful." Suave said, kissing Jasper again. "I'll cherish it...forever."
