"I never came to the beach or stood by the ocean I never sat by the shore under the sun with my feet in the sand but you brought me here, and I'm happy that you did cause now I'm as free, as birds catchin' the wind I always thought I would sink, so I never swam I never went boatin', don't get how they are floatin' And sometimes I get so scared of what I can't understand but here I am, next to you."

"Bey, all I'm saying is maybe you should talk to him about it. We don't know for a fact that he's cheating it just looks that way." Sol explained as we stood on my front porch.

"Who's side are you on? The other day y'all were just saying he wasn't shit. Now y'all saying this bs?" I spoke truthfully.

"All we're saying is that maybe you should consider talking to him instead of assuming." Kelly said.

"You know what they say about assuming. It makes an ass out of you and me." Michelle added.

"I'm not assuming. I know."  They were annoying me and to be quite honest I didn't feel like being bothered with them.

"How do you know?" Nika asked.

"Intuition." I replied simply.

"That's an assumption." Kelly sighed.

"Listen I think I know when something isn't right in MY marriage." I said emphasizing the 'MY'.

"Whatever, Bey. You still didn't have to show your ass in front of everyone. It wasn't necessary." Kelly explained.

"It was very necessary." I said rolling my eyes.

"Whatever girl, are you gonna let us in or what?" Sol asked.

"No," I said. I definitely didn't want them to see the mess I made last night during my second 'mental breakdown'.

"What you hiding in there?" Kelly asked.

"Plot twist you're the one cheating." Michelle added.

"You know what. Get off of my property. Don't y'all have work or something to tend to?" I asked.

"Man, look we didn't come over here to give you a speech. We just came over to get you out the house." Nicki spoke.

"No, thank you." I said in a snarky tone.

The 4 of us just stood there and had a stare down as the sun beamed down on us. The tension broke when Robyn walked up on the porch.

"Wassup ladies." Robyn smiled and gave me a quick hug. the girls responded with 'heys'.

"you feeling better?" Robyn asked.

"Yeah, I'm better. Thanks for checking." I told her with a smile.

"Sorry if I'm interrupting something but, I just wanted ta' come over ta' see how you were doing, see ya' around." She said in her thick accent before walking off the porch.

"No you weren't but thanks again. I really appreciate it." I said with a genuine smile planted on my face.

"no problem." She smiled and continued her walk to her house.
