I sat on the couch on my laptop going through my work emails preparing for my return next week.

"Ugh." I sighed tossing my computer to the side.

I loved my job but I did not feel like dealing with it, right now. It was too much stuff on my mind. It was damn near impossible to separate work from home.

I slid down into the sofa and stared at our wedding picture that hung on the wall. I wish he'd come home already. I missed him. I missed how fast he'd get mad when I touched his butt, I missed watching our favorite shows together, and his annoying but cute laugh.

A tear almost escaped from my eye but I was distracted once I heard keys jingle then I seen him walk in the door. Part of me wanted to get up and hug him but my pride wouldn't allow that. He stood there staring at me and I sat staring back.

"I guess I'll break the silence." He spoke and I nodded causing him to sigh.

"I know sometimes I don't pay attention to you like I should or treat you how you should be treated and I'm sorry. I understand why you feel a certain way but I love you Beyoncé and I would never ever cheat on you. I only have eyes for you and only you I wouldn't even look in another direction. I promise you I'll start taking you out more and doing more for you I'm sorry that it took being away from you to realize how much I needed you, but you know what they say absence makes the heart grow fonder." He said in a sincere manner.

"Oh I also got you something, it's your favorite." He said handing me a dozen red roses.

"White roses are my favorite but atleast you got the flower right." I smiled and he chuckled at my response and stretched his arms out for a hug.

I went over to him and wrapped my arms around his neck and he wrapped his around my waist.

"I love you, you know that right?" He said.

"I know, I love you too." I mumbled in his ear.

"You know I would never cheat on you, right? I don't know what I would do if I didn't have you." He said breaking the hug and looking me in my eyes.

"I know, I'm sorry baby sometimes I just think that you're out there with someone better. I shouldn't have let my insecurities ruin us." I said.

"Baby, we both made some mistakes along the way but, we're ride or die we in this for life." he said with a smirk.

"Always and forever." I said kissing his lips softly.

"Okay baby now go get ready I have a surprise for you. I have the whole day planned out for us." He said with a smile.

"Wait you serious?" I asked.

"Very, now go put on something casual and nice." He smirked.

"Okay." I said excitedly.
