*Faye's P.O.V*
I didn't know what to say. No one has ever told me that they love me. I smiled and looked at Shawn. I don't want to say "I love you" and get hurt. I've never said "I love you" to anyone. "I love you" is just three words that don't mean anything. Anyone could say "I love you" and never mean it. Did Shawn mean it?
"Let's go upstairs. It's cold down here." I said, curling up in a little ball, and cuddling into Shawn.
"Okay. Let's go." Shawn said, picking me up and carrying me upstairs to his room.
He set me down onto his bed, walked over to his door and shut it. I climbed under his covers, and curled up into a little ball. Shawn walked over to his bed and climbed in next to me. He scooped me into his arms, and held me. I cuddled into his chest, and his heat slowly warmed me.
"Are you warm now princess?" He asked.
I smiled, and whispered, "Yeah."
"Good." He said, kissing my head.
"Why princess?" I asked.
"Because you are a princess. You're my princess." Shawn answered.
"What? In what way?" I asked, looking at him.
"Because your perfect like a princess. Beautiful like one, and you've got a story." Shawn answered, stroking my hair.
"God damn it Mendes! Why are you so fuckin perfect?" I said, kissing him.
He smiled and kissed me back. I wrapped my arms around his neck, and he put his hands around my waist. I ran my fingers through his hair, and he pulled me closer to him, so that there was no gap. I put my head into his neck, and dozed off.

Faye had her head buried into my neck, and I felt her warm breath on my skin. I held her close to me, never wanting to let go. As long as she was in my arms, I knew she was safe. She's been hurt too much, I don't want her getting hurt anymore. I love her.
I felt something shaking me when I was sleeping, so I woke up. I saw Faye shaking, trembling, and breathing heavy. She gasped, and jolted awake.
"Hey. You okay princess?" I asked.
She bit her lip, and nodded her head. I saw a tear go down her cheek.
"Why are you crying?" I asked.
"It's nothing." She said, wiping her face. "Just a bad dream."
"It's okay. I'm here." I replied, pulling her closer, if that was even possible.
She sniffled, and cuddled into me. I ran my fingers through her hair, while we both dozed off to sleep.
In the morning when I woke up, I saw Faye looking up at me.
"Good morning princess." I said.
"Morning." She replied.
I kissed her forehead, and she got up, and walked towards the door. I followed her, and we walked downstairs to the kitchen. I grabbed some muffins, and we sat down at the dining room table. I passed her a blueberry muffin, and I ate one.
Once we were finished, we walked upstairs to my room, so we could get dressed, and go to Faye's house to get her clothes. I took off my shirt, and grabbed a black one. I put on a pair of black jeans, and grabbed my shoes. I looked over at Faye, and she already had her dress on, and was getting her shoes. She walked into my bathroom, and did her hair and makeup.
"You ready?" I asked.
"Yeah. Lets go." She answered.
We walked to my car, and drove to her house. She ran up to her room, and shut the door behind us. She put her finger to her lips and shushed me. I smiled, and grabbed her waist and pulled her to me. She gasped, and looked into my eyes. I kissed her and she kissed me back, then pulled away, and walked to her closet. She grabbed a bunch of clothes, and stuffed it all into a backpack.
She looked at me, grabbed my hand, and walked downstairs. We made it out without her mom seeing us. We got into my car, and drove away.
"Are you hungry princess?" I asked.
"A little." She answered.
"Lets go get lunch. Where do you wanna go?" I asked.
"Um... lets go to the diner." She answered.
"Okay." I smiled, driving to the diner.

Shawn and I got to the diner, and walked in. We sat at a table for two, and waited for our waitress. She came over, and smiled.
"Hi guys. What would you like to drink?" She asked.
"Lemonade." I answered.
"Okay. And for you?" She asked, turning to Shawn.
"Same." He smiled.
"Okay. I'll be right out with those." She said, walking away.
"Finally a girl who didn't hit on me." Shawn said, grabbing my hands.
"She wanted to. You know she did." I smiled.
"The only girl I need hitting on me is the one sitting in front of me." Shawn said.
"Your mine Mendes." I smirked.
"I'm good with that." He smirked back.
I leaned over and kissed Shawn. He leaned in, so I didn't have to go so far across the table. He's such a gentleman.
The waitress came back with our drinks, and asked what we wanted to eat.
"I'll have the chef salad. No tomatoes." I said.
"Okay. And for you sir?" She said.
"I'll have muffins. Chocolate chip and blueberry." Shawn replied.
"Okay. I'll get those." She smiled, walking away.
Shawn and I looked at each other, and stared into each others eyes. His eyes were so beautiful. I love them. And his smile. And his personality. I love everything about him. He's perfect. We were staring into each other's eyes for a while, until the waitress came. She handed us our food, and we started eating.
Once we were done, Shawn paid for it, because he wouldn't let me, and we drove back to Shawn's house. I grabbed my backpack full of all of my stuff, walked over to Shawn, grabbed his hand, and walked inside. We went upstairs and put my backpack away.
Shawn came up behind me, wrapped his hands around my waist, and put his head into my neck. I smiled and leaned into him. He kissed my neck, and worked his way up to my lips. I kissed him, and he picked me up and set me down on his bed. I laid down, and Shawn laid next to me. I scooted closer to him, and cuddled in his arms.
"Your so damn beautiful princess." Shawn whispered in my ear.
I smiled and said, "And your so freaking perfect."
"Not as perfect as you." He replied.
"I love you." I said.
